Woohooo! Another week of volleyball! I was testing out the Hero 8 & Hero 10 today and the results are surprising! I was thinking of testing out some budget options as well, what are your thoughts? I'm really exited for this season and although we're still figuring placement and such on the new teams, we'll eventually figure it out!

Great effort! love your videos always fun to watch. FYI that the kick off the wall he did is basically illegal? it says in the rules that a play cannot use or assist an other object or person to touch the ball

I didn't know that! Haha the rules in our league are relatively relaxed. Most of us are there just to have fun unless you're playing in the top tiers!

Nice video!! I tried doing POV content with the Hero 10, but honestly I just have no idea how to get the settings right haha. 4:3? 16:9? I did 4:3, stretched it in post and it looks weird haha.

It's a lot of trial and error and Im still changing stuff all the time haha! 4:3 allows me to crop in for both vertical and horizontal content. With 16:9 if I crop in for vertical it's too zoomed in. I also pan left and right in my vertical videos to keep the ball in the middle so it's easier to watch!

How do you go about setting it up for regular 16:9 youtube content? Do you stretch the 4:3 or do you just cut out the parts that don't fit 16:9?@@dtvolleyball

@@bensonspov I zoom in so you lose the left and right side of the video. But you also have a little bit of room to move the video up and down if your camera angle is off. It's a compromise hard to have both good vertical and horizontal content haha

I'm sorry! They will come back, but I just need a break from it for a bit and have fun. The scores have been putting this weird pressure on me to perform well in every video I post. I know it's not an expectation to do well as I just post videos for fun, but it's been getting to me. I hope you understand!
