Almost every Blackpink mv has a "Behind the Scenes/Making Of" video. They're cool and entertaining to watch. One of the things the videos highlights is that they very seldom use Green Screen or CGI, 99% of the sets are practical effects. UNFORTUNATELY, you will also notice the toxicity of the Kpop fandom. Fandoms, love to go after the top 3 groups😪. Blackpink gets A LOT of unfair treatment, & hate. So Blinks (BP fandom name), have become very defensive. - 💁🏻‍♀️Their haters like to say that the girls don't write their music, but that is INCORRECT. Teddy is the mastermind behind BP, & the writer of their greater hits. But the girls have songs that THEY wrote, like •"Stay"(pop/R'B) • "Love Sick girls"(pop/rap) • The rap in their Miguel cover of "Sure thing", & bars from other tracks. Even if Teddy is the only one credited. The girls also contribute in the creative process, of the track & making of the MV. - 😪FEMALES have a disadvantage in Korea, & are exploited & controlled, even MORE. Than the male artists/actors. BP's music label (YG), didn't credit the girls for THEIR work, until recently. Male Kpop idol are also mistreated & exploited. All in all, it's not a great industry for the actual artists. You have to make it to BP & BTS status, to get respect. Both groups have definitely earned it. - They are the group that integrates the most English, in their music. It's one of the reasons, for their immense success internationally🤗. - Black-Pink is all about duality & contrast. •🖤BLACK- Their dark, cool, tomboyish, badass, sexy, boss-bitch attitude •💖PINK- Their girly, sweet, cute, adorable, soft, & friendly side. They appear to be fragile, pretty dolls. But they are really strong, independent women. They've never conformed to the typical "Good Korean girl" label💁🏻‍♀️👏🏻👏🏻. Its all about light/dark, ying/yang, the Rose that is beautiful, delicate, & sweet smelling. But deadly, imperfect, & full of thorns.🌹🥀🌹 - 💁🏻‍♀️🥇🏆BP has broken several musical records. @@Montang2007 Lol, maybe so and I probably misrepresented myself. I absolutely think BlackPink are awesome and given Rose is a fellow Aussie, I’m happy to support them anyway I can. I went to the Babymetal concert in Melbourne earlier this year and BlackPink were performing at the bigger venue next door and I couldn’t believe the enormous line of fans waiting to enter, so clearly they’re doing something right. I did notice the demographic was what looked to me to be mostly school aged girls but I reckon there would have been 30,000 people attending. Curious, I looked further into the band and thought they looked great and their performances are very polished. My gripe is the music itself. I find most Pop music pretty generic these days with mostly 4/4 time, little variation with time signatures and overall, pretty forgettable. I’m trying to expand my musical taste, having grown a little tired of the rock scene and K-Pop is one genre that I certainly don’t hate but wouldn’t find myself searching for.

@@tedkaboom2406 Yes, it cannot be denied that the Blackpink fandom is mostly teenagers, but I have studied their songs in their chords and harmonies and I can assure you that Blackpink surprised me with sets of chords that are not common in Western music. (well, more than Blackpink, their producer, Teddy Park). Many songs do not fit into the Western standard, nor do their Eastern melodies.
