My first ever putter when I was a junior in the 70s was very similar to that one, except it had a brass head. The shaft was also slightly warped, but tbh, it was a really nice feeling putter, and I putted pretty well with it. I think I had it for a couple of years before I grew out of it (my Dad had cut down the shaft for me), and I replaced it with a Ping Anser, which I still have.

Great demonstration that skill was a greater contribution to success than technology. Then technology and marketing took over golf. Great outcome for industry, unfortunate outcome for basic golf skills. On the other hand I do appreciate my modern clubs as opposed to the 1960s "real woods" and blades I inherited from a close friend.

I expected something to break (or spontaneously combust) in this video, but it wasn't the camera.😂 BTW i didn't think they made draw-bias 'Drivers' in them days. I was obviously wrong.😲

I broke a wooden club on the range once. Yes I have a video of it from a bad angle. No I did not run out to get the club back. Yes I got it back!

Some great golf with the sticks it's a shame you would have not been allowed on the course when those clubs were made because neither of you is dressed like a gentleman 🤣
