Allow me to correct you: Using cheats is not like they're trying to be good or wants to be good. I used cheats in some online games myself... Don't get me wrong: i wasn't bad in the game... But i got tired of it. Just remember this isn't the only reason why someone would cheat. I would cheat in DbD just because the Devs don't know to fix their game properly. Or if i got tired/bored of the game, would do that anyway. It's not because i hate the game, but as an act of protest demanding improvements.

I’m not a streamer and wasn’t recording when something like this happened to me. I was also playing oni and the game started normally, but then a feng min couldn’t be downed anymore. I could hit her but couldn’t down her on the ground. She completely used this to her advantage and would try block hits for her team. She ended up escaping through hatch and in the end game the entire survivor group said I was the one hacking and I deserved what the feng did (they said I could see through walls but refused to believe that I was just using bbq and chili). I didn’t have a recording, but I reported them in game, in steam, and I also sent my game log of that day to the dev team. Hope they got banned

I never understood cheats. Its implicitly telling everyone "HEY, IM LITERALLY THE MOST ABSOLUTE PIECE OF SHIT AT THIS GAME SO I HAVE NO OTHER WAY TO MAKE IT WORK THAN USING HACKS". At least with some effort and dignitiy you might achieve to do pretty decent in any game. When you hack, that ship is way gone.

I had a Hacker (Killer today) with a "Anti Cooldown" Hack on his weapon, to explain it: I was using Dead Hard when he hit me, and basically escaped, but in the moment Dead Hard went off he INSTANTLY was able to hit me again and also somehow "teleported" right behind me!

It's hard to balance this game when there is so many different variables. Map layouts can either be op for survivor or horrible for survivor there's just too many variables to decide whenever or not this game is balanced. Like would you balance the game around bubba or oni? How would you be able to properly balance this game unless all killers are the exact same and just different skins like survivors?

I remember one of my first games of DBD as killer. I was playing hillbilly on the game and I went against a 4 man swf all who were hacking. One had speed hacks. One had some sort of exploit where I was unable too hook him no matter what. All 4 of them could fly in the air and went through walls and they had these flashlight macro's where whenever they used a flashlight it would instantly blind me. I was like rank 17 when it happened and it was the weirdest yet most fun dead by daylight game I have ever had.

Also lag does not affect idle collision. So walls and such would still work, plus you would also have a choppy teleport affect going on, not a smooth transition.

On mobile, we have had that, but we know it isnt hacks for this reason. They either get stuck, disconnect, come back down and freeze for a bit, or they come back down and are back to normal.

You have to pay attention to their movements. Like monto said, his wasnt lag cause she was flaunting it flawlessly. No stutter in movement, nothing. Most the time on mobile when killers or survivors fly or make impossible hits, their walking is like that of a blind baby deer with its feet cut off. They stutter bad so, we know its lag.

be happy you havent faced crossplay exploiters right now. I had two console players insta healing, spamming the hook sound, having no collision, teleporting through the map, being faster than you as oni with speed addons, popping 5 gens within 1 second, immediately triggering the EGC and skip the 2 minutes timer and hooking them doesn't mean anything bc they won't leave the first phase and they just unhook themselfs everytime. Slugging also won't work bc insta heal. Was a fun match too.
