You're so good at tracking!! I've been watching you for a year now and I'm always amazed at your PCI placement. Great video AJ!

This helped so much. I only practiced about 3 hours and went back into events. I went from winning only about 3-4 games before I was eliminated to 16-18. Earned a sub

I was having some trouble with pitch recog this year. It seems the difference between pitches out of the hand is not as easy to spot, at least for me. Spent a lot of time with a bunch of different pitchers on legend in practice and I can adjust to about anything I need to even if I dont get perfect recog. Pretty much only things that give me any trouble is the knuckle curves disguised look, until I know theyre throwing them, and the L on L slider is still my worst enemy. Thanks for the vid! I spent forever trying to make Strike zone my main, but SZ2 abd SZ high both work better for me, I use my peripheral vision to see the players stride foot as its always timed to the pitchers fast ball and on SZ some of the players legs wont be visible.. which also throws me off if I dont remember whos up and I dont know which side my guys on haha..

This is my first MLB game and to be honest I had no idea where to start practicing PCI control until I watched this. Having a good outline for practicing my PCI placement makes it a lot more understandable and manageable, I'm loving the game so far, the only thing I really struggle with is batting.

Last year was my first year of the show. Stopped around January and started back 22 came out. Decided I’d look up the KZbinrs I watched then but I’ve since had to make a new KZbin and didn’t have any subs. You are the only one I remembered off the top of my head. About to binge a couple hours of your videos lol

I like PCI anchor as a situational tool. Say you pick up a tendency. Like you know an inside sinker is coming. Or you know an outside slider is coming. I feel the PCI anchor helps in those situations, it kinda slows down your PCI and makes microadjistments within that quadrant easier. But to use it every pitch is probably a bad idea, because it does slow down the movement of the PCI, so reacting to pitches outside of where you sit will become more difficult.

One thing I like to do is turn the fielder option on. That way I can practice hitting liners over players heads, dropping it in the gap, take advantage of shifts, etc. That seems to help me with my hitting...

What a great way to practice. I’ve been in the worst hitting slump since I first started playing DD in 2019. You’d think since I’ve played baseball video game pretty much year round for 30 years I’d be pretty good at it. My hand/eye isn’t what it once was so I have to make up for it in strategy and reading opponents pitching sequences. So I can look really bad at times. Lately it been more of that. Thanks for the tips brother!!!
