I live in Cedar Rapids and so nice to see people coming to review Cedar Ridge whiskey. Thanks for coming our way.

Thanks for coming to the great state of Iowa. Sipping Barrel Proof and Single Malt along with you.

I never in all my years would have imagined “Iowa” and “whiskey” being joined in a sentence… Craft distillation has certainly been a great thing for American whiskey drinkers. As a native Minnesotan, the tradition of Iowa jokes always comes immediately to mind. How do you know the toothbrush was an Iowa invention? Because if invented anywhere else, it would have been called a “teeth brush.” 😂 What do you call a bunch of tractors parked at an Iowa Dairy Queen? Prom night. 😅 I could go on for hours…

The entire upper Midwest is killing it. New Holland (MI), Driftless Glen (WI), Whiskey Acres (IL), Hard Truth (IN), Cedar Ridge (IA), Tattersall (MN)

I went to HS just north of there in Cedar Rapids and my Dad and my Step Mom (and her kids) still live there. Glad you got to stop by Cedar Ridge - I am a *huge* fan of the QuintEssential and will need to pick up another bottle when I'm back in the area, cheers - and good luck on the 100 ! ! !

Granted I know exactly nothing about distance running, but Phil’s pre-race preparation seems to be unorthodox to say the least! 🥃 🍕 🚐😀

You guys missed out. They released a couple hitters not too long ago. And Armagnac Quint and a Cigar Malt Quint. The cigar malt is 🔥. Didn’t get the Armagnac unfortunately. What you got was definitely solid. And yes we just might have enough corn around here to spare some for whiskey 😉

Got a Cedar Ridge "Midnight Graham" cask strength bourbon pick a while ago. Neck pour was too grainy for me tbh--alas, because Field of Dreams rocks. But I let it sit a while, put it into a blind with friends, and it kicked ***. It did not last long after that, and I need to find more.

One question I have about the barrel proof... I noticed on the back of the bottle I bought from a grocery store in Marion it said something like "aged 3 to 4 years". Is that right? They are putting out whiskey that young? They've been around for a while.

Whiskey Crusaders live with Cold Zero work with Cedar Ridge must see. CR has out sold Titos, vodka sucks.
