First off I'M VERY SORRY for the buzzing feedback throughout the video. I did my best to try and get rid of it in post, but I could only do so much. I was having issues with my mic/camera and almost didn't upload the video because of it. I figured the show must go on. If you can't watch because of it I understand. Anyways enjoy the ispods (rollies pollies, pill bugs, potatoe bugs, woodlice) or whatever you like to call them. Personally I like “pill bugs” as that's what we said as kids, but I'm curious what you call them. Let me know! Also check out the video description for links/information.

To combat all of the sickness I feel, I watch your videos almost everyday as they relax me and keep my mind off of how I am feeling. I've always had a little bit of a fascination with isopods, or, as we call them here in West Virginia, potato bug, and would regularly catch them, and observer them for a little while. But, after learning more and more about them, the fascination had increased tremendously. I never knew there were so many types out there, and they look very different from one another. Anyway, very cool video on the isopods, and I can't wait to see what more you do with your animal room.

@Timothy Newitt I'm no expert, but as far as I can gather, the name is due to their appearance near or on wooden benches, and the fact that they digest and break down wood - often the bench itself. We have several frequently used bench/seating designs that use untreated wooden logs.

You being a fish guy as well will appreciate something like a small amazon puffer or some kind of puffer fish assuming you can house one. I used to feed my puffer isopods, and since isopods are basically a shrimp, they can survive submerged in water and walk around the tank for quite some time. My puffer would love these, and you could hear the crunching from the outside of the tank when he would eat... I have had a few puffers, but the Amazon puffer was my favorite. I think you should get one someday! would be fun to watch
