There are things from the VERY beginning of the game that they STILL haven’t fixed. the broken cauldron items, the fountains that can’t be put on paths, and more. In This latest vale expansion the Greek pattern motifs stretch out into plain lines, making them unusable. Just tons of little mess ups that they will most likely never bother to address.

Indeed. The one that annoys me the most is the Mannequin! Which, with the addition of Daisys Boutique I was REALLY hoping they were going to fix. I even effects when you change you clothing now! The 'layering' is all messed up!

My game has been sooo buggy since this Update (even worse than in 'early-access')! This was my concern because, as a developer, if you don't fix existing bugs they compound and become harder to fix with each patch/update. You increase the chances of something else not working properly and breaking something else when u do get around to trying to fix them (because the 'new' stuff is like 'on-top' of the older code)! The longer you leave fixing issues the bigger the problem gets!

I'm still at two; I was really excited for about two days because Scrooge had new clothes for the first time in ages and also a couple furniture items I have always wanted... now it's right back to nothing new. I think I need to lower my expectations for DDV moving forward. 😅

If they give us the ability to relocate the Goofy Stalls to the floating islands, I'd love for them to allow us to move Gaston's Stall to the main Valley.

Same I would really just like to put them in one “shopping area” or at least move them when I move their characters between each “valley”. I would also like to move my main home to a floating island so I can make it into a proper castle and not deal with certain unmovable objects.

I agree they should be more professional and communicate more. I still haven't gotten my promised moonstones. I also think the community enjoys the game so much that our expectations and requests are a lot to fulfill. I saw the same thing happen with Animal crossing new horizons during the pandemic. I agree with someone in the comments. They should try reviewing and fixing the basic stuff first and then add new stuff. I hope they are not taking on so much that they won't be able to handle it anymore later on.

I was really looking forward to the PlayStation Cross-Save feature being added. That way, I could still play Dreamlight Valley on long trips away from home. I've sunk a lot of time into this game, and I don't want to start from scratch. I can only hope they add this feature soon.

It’s not a perfect solution cause it doesn’t always work, but if you download the PS remote play app, as long as you’re connected to WiFi it will connect to your PS from anywhere and you can play remotely. I did it on my holiday in Malta, and my PS was safely home in the UK 😂❤

Another small thing that I caught was in the trailer that dropped with the update on 12/4 - The player house clearly shows two of the rugs from Sally's friendship quest on the floor (rotated because, yeah) and it's not possible to buy additional rugs from Scrooge. It's small, but annoying all the same.

The problem is that it was shown on the beginning in the loading screen in scrooge's shop, and later in the dlc images showcase, where all the other items and clothes In those images came with the dlc, so it's kinda misleading :/

I do think them posting about the conversion of snippets was a mistake, hence why they removed it from the patch notes - And I still believe we'll eventually get that as a feature, probably in pt 2 of the DLC. Also, as a PS4 player, I was super excited about cross-save.. Hopefully it's only delayed and not entirely canceled. Either way, I wish they were more transparent about it instead of just leaving us guessing, but I guess I've come to expect this lack of communication from GL. Oh and I really don't think you're being negative, it's totally fair to call them out on these things! I actually appreciate you using your platform to do so. Some of the things you've pointed out seem like plain out false advertising, which is really annoying - and even with things that might have been genuine mistakes, or were changed after they already posted about it - I just wish they would take responsibility and clarify it for us.

@PettyPerkins Yeah, I can agree that Sony might very well be the issue here.. But my complaint regarding GL's lack of communication still stands. Even if they can't share the specifics atm, simply acknowledging the delay could go a long way. Like, say if they put out a tweet apologizing for the delay and saying that they're in talks with Sony to resolve it, or simply that despite previous statements, cross-save for PS players will not be coming at this time.. I'd prefer that over the total silence. I get that they don't have to share the exact details, or that they might not be able to legally if it's on Sony's side, but they can always at least let us know what's going on in general terms.

I think what they should do is just update the patch notes with a strike through and add a disclaimer note. This is what Palia does and shows that yup they make mistakes but they own up to it and keep the communication line open which is very refreshing

I've completed the entire new DLC and still haven't seen but a handful of the new Storybook items in Scrooges shop. I think I have the bed, and the book tiles, but nothing else. It's really frustrating because this was something I've paid real money for, and am not getting the perks.

I find myself slowly pulling away from the game and taking my loss on it. Because the same stuff and nothing to different from the grinding and things taking forever to get. I don’t get why i have to dedicate everyday to it to get things done. So doing what i want in the game. I have enough house skin and the major glitches all the time with every update or DLC. Figured they would have it all taken care of. Things takes a lot longer for when things cause the game to freeze. Just bored with it already. And tired of their dreamsnaps is now based on whats in the shop now. Become a money grabber.

Mine is bugged out. They don’t progress and Maleficent is glitched. She flashes on and off the map, but isn’t in the game anywhere. Every time she flashes on the map, the entire game flashes. It makes my game unplayable since I’m prone to seizures. I’ve reported it and never got more than the canned reply.

@@kookycoolauntkaryn5884 Thank you. I have no problem waiting for a bug fix on the quest not preceding as it should. My issue is the visual glitch as it makes the game virtually unplayable for me due to my seizure condition. Hopefully I’ll be able to complete the Star path even though playing even 30 minutes is risky for me with the game flickering as it is now. (Honestly, getting Maleficent to stop flickering needs to be a top tier bug fix since it impacts game playability.) I sent them videos and never got a reply.

I think the fun of decorating was sucked out already... It was made so difficult. Now they have the islands but that's not what i wanted... Just make the existing biomes bigger and easier to work with. And the ten minute loading screens FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I've been playing diligently from beginning but i actually haven't gotten Vale yet...

The difference is prob that one image of the item is prob a promo or an internal draw up of the item but not what the item will eventually look like in game. The Dev do need to do better at communication and advertising to us because it becomes misleading if they don't correct it.

I have an idea for you I'm colorblind and I'm having a little trouble telling what color snippets I need for each puzzle could you do a what color snippets needed for each one I know it's geared to a smaller group of people but I think it would help some

Unfortunately as much as I love this game I feel like this may be the end of my journey. The game is unplayable for me on both switch and pc. It constantly crashes. I was hoping to try PlayStation but now that may not even be a thing. I also just don’t like certain things they do like released an update but didn’t fix the issue with scrooges shop and the wallpapers/ tiles. Or how about when the up house was bugged with that sound and instead of fixing it they put it in the premium shop? There’s just things that I’m not happy about and it feels like more of a focus is put into monetary updates rather than focusing on actually fixing the game. I am very disappointed.

Has anyone else had difficulty progressing with Flynn ? It says to dig up missing items near Flynn’s house but I only ever managed to dig up one and the other two holes are nowhere to be found! I even moved his house to another biome to see if it was a glitch and shows up underneath his house, but I looked everywhere and still nothing.

I had this issue! I know a few others did too and many found that it spawned under the ink barrier near his house (apparently a lot of people put his house in that corner) once I unlocked that area I was able to dig it up. Hope this helps!

My game is completely bugged . My Merida and flynn quest won’t complete because they won’t talk. Same with hedes and melificent so now I can’t do any quests with them along with soo many other glitches. I’m a little annoyed that I spent $ on something that is borderline not playable.

I feel like whenever I make a comment about this game it’s negative despite the fact it’s my most played game at the moment but I feel like I have to mention that their promotional arts have always been like that. Maybe it’s just me, but I remember with the OG trailer they showed characters that had been relegated to DLC, items and houses that either don’t exist or don’t look like the art the originally showed (especially on the load screens) and more.

I still love the game. I play, I watch the youtube video's about the game. I will continue to do all of that. I absolutely love new DLC. However, like you I'm a little disappointed in how things have been going and the way the DLV team doesn't really respond to players much anymore. I had an issue with my game, I received 2 automated responses and that was it, and then I got another email asking if I was happy with their service. There was no service.

I'm genuinely upset about the PS4 cross save issue with no updates or even acknowledgement. I had to make the decision to buy the dlc on my ps4 or wait until cross save. I want to move everything to my gaming laptop instead. And so i made the decision to buy it on the ps4 and when we get cross save eventually, I'll have to rebuy all 3 on my pc. And I'm really looking forward to playing on there instead but the lack of transparency around it is really frustrating. I wouldn't even mind if I had to completely restart the game if I could still at least have access to every star path item I've earned and premium item I've bought.

The new DLC and the Sally update are such a huge mess. I’m a day 1 player and this is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced. Literally everything is broken. The sally update made it so much worse, and it broke the final storybook vale quest with hades and Maleficent . They need to do a hotfix in the worse way, buy they haven’t even acknowledged the issue. Or any of the MANY other issues. THAT really ticks me off, that they just break the whole thing and not even say a word about a fix or anything for an entire week so far. Every time they tweet their general nonsense I get madder.

Some of these things are bit nitpicky. The island in the loading screen is literally ART, the island is much, much smaller than it actually is (Pride Rock takes up a HUGE chunk of it), so if we are going by what the screen shows, well. I hope you like your 20x20 spaces island.

I get it that they are releasing a lot, but they need to focus more on fixing these critical issues… also it wasn’t mentioned but I’m wondering about level 12 characters still, it shows in one area that they can go up that high but we’re still maxed at 10 so i know it’s still coming but again, lack of communication is making it difficult
