I use this deck and activate Denathrius basically every game. You just shouldnt wait for instant lethal as its all about Shudder absorbing it and Saronit+Grumble copyint it. Activate it at 10 and its a decent clear+heal. That being said I just dealt 40 to the face of a big priest with Flurgl+Kaelthas+Toxfin boardclear and then play Denathrius for 0 Mana for face dmg. Man that was satisfying:)

Still blows my mind that some people didn't think this change to Celestial Alignment would be a sufficient nerf or even a nerf at all when it was abundantly clear the entire time people were complaining about it that not being able to play the game after Alignment came down was the main issue with the card.

It was honestly 60% of the reason why I played that card as a Druid. I really don’t care about what my cards cost when Guff brings me to 20 mana anyways.

My winrate in standard with Celestial Druid actually went up though. Now you can just slam it on 8 even without ramp or draw in hand. In Wild it's probably a massive nerf though.

I had an hour log match against this deck as luna mage. I stole his Denathrius and had hero power deal 8. Guy kept playing shudderwoks untill we reached 30+ in fatigue and game ended in a draw. Haven't played since.

Do you guys feel like there's too much (minion) disruption in Wild right now with Rat, Mutanus and Theotar all in Neutral and several more class cards that eat minions? Drawing your top end in decks like this is almost more of a liability than a boon.

hmm well when druids can gain multiple permanent game effects that you can't counter once active it becomes necessary to add someway to prevent those effects from even happening. Cringe and unfun as it is its a reaction to a bigger game design issue.

I love and hate sleetbreaker in this deck. Love it because it's elemental that draws (but doesn't kill you when shuddering off) but I hate it because it fills my hand with cards that I can't get rid of and I have failed to shudder off multiple times because of it

Don't get me wrong, I am quite satisfied that control strategies are viable again. However, knowing before even queuing up for a game that you will play against a deck with Renathal and or Denathrius is quite polarizing. Games either end within 5 minutes playing against a pirate rogue, or 20+ minutes playing a Renathal druid with 70+ health and armor.
