Thanks to the generous soul who sponsored this reaction. Others havementioned the 12th birthdaygig. 10 rock classicsin a short day with precious little rehearsal together. YOYOKA was in studio pro mode. She had already nearly 8 years of live performance in the family band, and lots of other line-ups by this time. The professionals had accepted her as one of them, but sadly the local mores were preventing her from developing as fast as she could so the family left Japan for California. She now plays in several bands including a fantastic jazz fusion band, the pros pool at the Whisky A Go Go and Cali3. Her education has not been suffering either with very important awards. There are hundreds of videos now featuring YOYOKA, just waiting to be explored. Wherever she goes she is much liked in whatever she does. If you feel inneed of a tonic just dive into her channel!

Probably my favorite Satriani song, even more than Surfing With The Alien. Let's put this in perspective. These kids are covering one of the greatest artists in the world. No really, like top 5 on guitars and the drums ( I don't know who did drums on the original, guitar was Joe) are Hot For Teacher level. The talent and the discipline required to pull this off can't be underestimated. I don't care how talented you are, without hard work you won't reach your potential. Great reaction!

Hey, you picked a great example of Yoyoka's skill in this video, not to mention the incredible chops of Lisa-X of course. This series of videos is so well produced, with great sound and professionally shot video, and it's a great document of her birthday present and her talent at that stage in her career. I can only encourage exploring all of the 12th birthday videos as they all are so perfectly presented, with top musicians (including a guitarist who can make noodles while ripping into an amazing solo 😂).

Don't worry, there are piles of abandoned drum kits across the world after watching YOYOKA, drummers who have been playing for 30 years, now wonder why they even bothered...lol YOYOKA made DrummerWorld's Top 500 Drummers OF ALL TIME, at age 11! Youngest ever. A true prodigy, as well as Li-Sa-X ! YOYOKA's credits could fill an entire book, Two appearances on the Ellen Show, Played live in front of 30K fans with Cyndi Lauper and on another occasion with Fallout Boy. In this link you see see YOYOKA running across stage behind Cyndi, sits down at the kit, and within seconds is banging out a crazy drum solo/duo with Cyndi's drummer...lol AGE 10!!! Voted by "Newsweek Japan" as one of the "Top 100 Most Respected Japanese" in the world (youngest ever). Done many commercials, including 2 for Nike. Came to U.S. late 2022 to pursue her music, taking classes in English with a proficiency rate of about 10-15% and within 1.5 years received the "President's Gold Award For Educational Excellence", including a medal and letter signed by Biden, for a 4.0 grade average and other excellence. I could go on for hours..... Just simply an outstanding young lady in every sense of the word!

Maria, Wow! I'm so glad you enjoyed this amazing YOYOKA 12th Birthday Session Jam! This is a Continuation of a number of these Sessions they did to celebrate YOYOKA'S Birthday. I have watched all of them that are posted, and they all are amazing, and mind blowing!!!!!!! So much young talent in one room, and working flawlessly together. I remember you were amazed at the Deep Purple- BURN (cover) you reacted to, I gave you some time back, oh yea, they slayed that one too! We know what YOYOKA can do, but knew you would definitely be impressed with the young Lady on the Guitar, since I know you really love great Guitar playing! Her name is Li-Sa-X, she is a Japanese guitarist with talent beyond her years, Born Feb. 8, 2005. She also has the Three Girl Band Li-Si-X, you can find them on most social platforms.
