This morning I asked God to help me find scripture that would connect with me, and I randomly opened my Bible to 2 Corinthians chapter 4. I'm 39 and going through some physical issues leading to a lot of mental health challenges. Nothing super serious, but forcing me to confront the fallibility of my human body as I age and coming to terms with deep seated belief that I am only loved for what I can do, and not for who I am. And being physically unable to do certain things calls all that love into question. So finding this chapter was definitely important and helps me circle back on my faith and letting go of that person I was or that body I had. Time to be excited for what God has in store for me!

I needed that reminder at the end today... that the things God has for us are far better and INCOMPARABLE to the things of this world.

I’ve been asked to read 2 Corinth 4 1-7 at a memorial for a retired Minister who we lost last month. I needed to understand why he chose this reading.

6-13-2020... Thank you for posting I came across your Channel looking for this particular scripture because one of a TBN PREACHER was speaking about it and it caught my eyes and wanted to read it later on and there YOU WERE, you made verse 7 clearer-when you explained that the jars of clay is the Gospel . I especially liked when you started praying before reading, I see that your post is from a year ago.. don’t see anything recent I pray your faith is increased as you read this comment... Remember your FAVORITE VERSE 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I read 2 Corinthians 4 just moments ago, but I understood only part of it. Then I came across your channel, and everything now seems clear, especially the treasure in the jar metaphor. Thank you for this, pastor. God bless. Keep giving short sermons like this :-)

Paul certainly has a theme going here. I really like it and can relate to it personally. Thanks for the reminder and your perspective on the chapter, Darren.

Life is great. Business is very busy, thanks. I think ever since that t-shirt made an appearance ... :) Might we see an encore appearance sometime?? I found myself getting behind this summer and not watching. Rob and I talked and we recommitted to watching and discussing when appropriate. While I like the videos and the insight you and Jared provide a great deal, I like the dialogue it leads to between Rob and me - maybe more. I do like the new set change, but I was a bigger fan of reading the Chapter while it was being read. I think it's a great way for me to digest the message faster and more completely. Thanks for reaching out!

@@Stebnitzbuilders do you mean reading by having the text on screen? We intend to still do that, I just couldn't do it today cause it takes more time and I ran out of time...haha.

Thank you Branch Together for the Daily Bible Study; as it helps me with daily bible readings with the ladies I lead in my City Group (Small Group). I do enjoy when Pastor LeBlanc breaks down the context, this is very helpful! Much appreciated. And when Pastor said "ya'll" I was able to relate, as I'm watching from Canada haha. In all seriousness, V16-18 hits close to home, as it's almost my mothers' one year mark of her passing from cancer. Thank you for speaking on this. God bless.
