The thing to do with 200cc is small light weight characters and karts. The less weight prevents you from swinging out wide on a drift and the light character keeps you slow enough that you don't each a wall every 2 seconds.

You can brake while drifting, and turning into the drift makes a tighter turn. Rainbow Road is the hardest to play 'cause you need to be on point with braking and drifting, otherwise you're falling off the map every 3 seconds lol Edit: I drive default everything. idk why I do it but it's fun to outrun the BS AI with a basic car build lol

quick tip for 200cc, yall need to learn break drifting. fairly simple easy to get the hang of while holding the drift button and a to drive forward, u also need to slide your thumb on a down to b and hold both. it allows you to take sharper turns while keeping the drift boost. Mind u holding the break drift for 2 long u will lose the boost, its best to just tap it to maintain some speed, but yah learning this is a god send for mario karters, 200cc is almost impossible without it as a casual player. Or if u refuse to learn that then just turn on the safety net fuction that stops u from connecting with walls and driving off edgs.
