They need to get rid of the season passives. Changing the base stats arbitrarily doesn’t have any good effects on the game’s balance. Making someone stronger when not needed leads to stuff like Iron Fist

I main Rocket Raccoon and I agree that on his own, he is not the best strategist, although I do think he is better than most realise because of the revive and damage boost. However, if you pair him up with the Punisher or Winter Soldier, he suddenly becomes incredibly useful. I don't know if anybody cares but some cool tips for Rocket are: 1. Because the healing balls bounce, you can heal around corners and often do not need direct line of sight. 2. If you make his healing balls bounce around the same area, they will heal every time they go through an ally. This means that if you bounce them correctly, his healing output increases substantially and lets you focus more on dealing damage. 3. His damage output is actually really good and he is excellent at melting tanks so dive tanks are actually quite weak against Rocket if you have good aim and aim for the head. 5. He is very, very mobile and can easily heal himself and allies at the same time and as a result, very survivable.

Magneto and Scarlett Witch combo is great too, Thor & Cap, Venom Spidey Peni, Magik BP and Wolverine Hulk one is probably THE most fun one since it is actually a combo and not a passive ability boost or additional ability

As an iron man main and winter solider main I can say the Iron man gamma buff is ridiculous. He absolutely Shreds everything with that buff. And winter solider with infinite ammo is like Hella level. You can wipe out an entire team in seconds just hy holding R2 and blow everyone to hell

For the iron man and hela comparison: Hela's seasonal boost is always on. Iron man's requires a team up. Not quite the same thing, even if iron man's team up might technically be better

It's not even better since Hela will do that extra damage on all of her abilities and normal attacks. Meanwhile, in Iron Man's case, it is only when he has the powerup from his ability. That 2% doesn't make up for it

The spidey and Squirrel Girl teamup deserve a mention, great stun that lasts a good amount. This makes her have two good stuns, making her great against dive characters

The only Great thing about Rocket is that his movements and running are some of the best in support. He's fast and also wall climbing can get you out of tough spots better than other supports.

Rocket doesn't have the greatest heal but he can bounce it on walls and get heals off on your teammates that normal healers wouldnt have been able to do anything about. Hes also very difficult to kill. I always have the highest healing done as Rocket. The only downside hes a max support. Barely any time to get some damage done other than youre using ult.

Question: the passive buffs (%x healing), do they stack? As in rocket gives the infinite ammo to bucky + punisher, does rocket get 10% healing if both are active? Or just the 5%

I like what the Devs are going for here, it's a lot more interesting than 2-2-2. The issue here is that 2-2-2 is just easier. Having to rely on randoms in Rivals to make a full team of synergistic characters vs relying on randoms in Overwatch to pick the correct role when they literally cannot pick the wrong one because of role queue simply has more points of failure. So I'm just wondering how this will play out over the next few months because on paper this is much more interesting but people are people and freedom breeds chaos 😅

Basically its flat out buffs to characters for the entirety of the season. Tanks get +150 hp dps gets 20% dmg buff and i think healers get 15% healing buff could be wrong with the numbers but that's how it works

Cuz it makes a fun rotation in the meta by way of new buffed hero comps instead of tweaking individual hero values who would be played in the same matchups. Pretty smart way to keep the game fresh each season and differenciate this game from other hero shooters IMO

Iron Man's Hulk team up is broken not because of unibeam but because of the primary fire. It has a huge AOE and does a lot of damage. If Iron Man is using unibeam he's likely in bad positioning. You're grossly misunderstanding how Iron Man is played. His primary is really strong when powered up and has faster shots.
