Love seeing some JoJo content. I've been a fan of it for over 30 years, and it's easily my favorite piece of fiction ever written. Pretty much every anime made in the past 20 years takes heavy inspiration from JoJo in some way or another, and even many games from Street Fighter to Persona also are heavily inspired by it. JoJo is significantly longer than One Piece, being one of the longest manga ever written and still on-going.

I got into Persona recently and I absolutely love it. I know the answer will probably be biased, but should I get into Jojos? The only reason I haven't it's cause' it's too long for me and I don't wanna skip the first two seasons if I end up watching it (Kobayashi for example felt super long for me even if I loved it). @@salk-e8346you should definitely get into it, yes even I have to admit that season 1 can be kind of tough to get through but it’s still pretty good and lays down the path for the entire rest of the story, but season 2, oh boy season 2 is phenomenal season 2 is when jojo‘s truly becomes jojo‘s with every character posing and doing the most absurd stuff you could ever imagine but you will go with it because one, the context behind it actually makes it very intense and 2 they will be having those god like Soundtracks blasting in your ears 24/7. season 3 is when stands are introduced and most importantly the posterboy of the franchise arrives, Jotaro season 3 is amazing but can drag on in the middle, however from season 4 onwards jjba is unironically just perfect, you’re always engaged, the stakes are high as a mfer and the soundtrack will still be annihilating your hearing capabilities

17:46 yes, correct, and youve complemented this character's menacing side eye in one of the openings beforehand, here's a ton of spoilers about him: the character is formerly known as Kira Yoshikage, who attained his new personality - Kosaku Kawajiri, after forcing one of the characters to use a shape shifting ability on him so he can go into hiding as a serial killer. The reason he did it is because he killed Josuke Higashikata's (main character's) friend - Shigekiyo Yangu, who found out that Kira is a serial killer. But Shigekiyo used his long range ability to give Josuke a piece of information about what happened to him. Now to Kira's stand (the ghost that most characters can manifest and call out to fight their opponents) - Killer Queen, a short range humanoid stand who uses his fingertips to place invisible bombs (limit of 1 at a time) onto anything, these bombs can also wipe out basically any matter, they dont just destroy the structures. His stand can also manipulate which area of the object he touched actually explodes, and can make the explosions soundless and harmful only to the object he placed it on. The bombs can also be transfered from one object to the other with direct contact, but will only be able to explode the second object if it doesnt go out of contact with the first. Kosaku Kawajiri (Kira) then found out that his identity's son found out who he is, a serial killer, so Kira decided to kill the kid using his stand. After that, very luckily for kira, his father confronted him about the situation and a stand arrow (an arrow that will give you a stand when you get pierced with it. however has a chance to kill you) slipped out of his inventory and pierced Kira on its own will, awakening his stand's second bomb variation. Killer Queen: Bites the Dust - has all the attributes of the original abilities, EXCEPT now it can place a second bomb. The second bomb is different from the first, as it can be placed onto a person and manifest itself in the person's mind as a vision of Killer Queen. This bomb will protect the person from any attempts to end self. Kira's second bomb is automatic, if anyone finds out his identity from the person he put the second bomb on, it will explode. After exploding anyone who sets the bomb off (except the victim), time rewinds about a hour back and loops back onto the moment it activated over the rewinded amount of time. This can only be prevented by Kira himself, who can act impulsive and give out his identity himself, after this happens, the person who heard him say it will become immune to Bite The Dust's second bomb, and to protect himself, Kira has to uncall his second bomb to use his stand. *My name is Yoshikage Kira. An explanation of each part (Spoilers!): Intro 1, Johnathan Joestar has his livelihood destroyed after Dio Brando becomes his adopted brother. Intro "6", starring Giorno Giovanna-- son of *DIO.* Living in Italy, he joins a gang to overturn the mafia. The antagonist is a man scrubbed off the internet, the leader of the gang, and has the ability to _skip_ time. Intro "7", with the girl Jolyne Kujoh, daughter of Jotaro, who ends up in a prison and wants to escape. The antagonist is one Father Pucci, who one day gains the power to *accelerate* time.

34:00 the priest (the dude with the white hair), Enrico Pucci, has a stand with said ability (yes, the same ass time manipulation), MAJOR spoiler, you really shouldnt read past this. : After Enrico Pucci evolved his stand from C-Moon to Made In Heaven, he became able to speed up and accelerate time to the point of the end of the universe, after which a new universe is born and a line of canon events happen until the moment that pucci started accelerating time, but with some changes - imagine Jonathan if he had green hair instead but everything else is fine and happens like it happened in the previous universe (with some changes to how said everything happens), anyone who already died are basically changed to completely different person, and anyone who got to witness the reset of the previous universe stay normal. and here comes the *MAJOR SPOILER:* Pucci managed to kill off everyone except the kid who is friends with the main character, so all hope is based on him. After the universe succeeded in resetting, the kid, whose name is Emporio btw, was hiding in the prison like he was before the reset. He then got confronted by Pucci who was there to seal the deal, and he ran from Pucci, but since everything has to be canon, lines of events prevent Emporio from getting to places he didnt go to in the original timeline, but in the end, he uses Pucci's previous abilities against himself. Pucci's 3rd last ability was that he could steal people's abilities in forms of CDs, he lost it after evolving it from White Snake to C-Moon and lastly to Made In Heaven. Emporio snatched one of the stand CDs from Pucci and made Pucci punch the CD into him when Pucci was about to hit him. Emporio then used the nature based stand to incapacitate Pucci using pure oxygen, and then punched him so many times that his eyes fell out of his sockets. After Pucci dies, the universe is reverted to its original state, and it takes everyone back to Nov 30th 2011, which is when Jotaro visits Jolyne in prison, which is also before everyone died. And because Pucci had connections to Dio, he was so influencial that the main protagonists basically never ended up in prison in the first place, and because he was responsible for it all and the universe had to “unreset”, it took Pucci (the power causing the reset) out of existence once he was killed. Oh and btw, one of the characters existed because of Pucci and cant without him, and the character is positive, sorry. But in the end, happy ending.

Those who are able manifest a stand can see the manifestated stands of other people and wise versa. People who dont have a stand can't see the stands of other people. Only stands can physically interact with other stands. However, stands can physically interact with anything, and can even phase through solid objects at times. Any damage done to a stand inflicts on its user aswell. Stands' abilities are based on people's personalities, their greatest desires and their intellect. Take the cap guy (Jotaro Kujo) with his city level strength stand: Star Platinum, not only is it strong enough to punch open objects even harder than diamonds, it can also move faster than a bullet from a revolver, able to stop it from hitting Jotaro the very moment it is about to kill him. It's reaction time is just as fast. It can also see the slightest details, down to a dark object in a dark photo and even see further than an eagle can. It can literally manually adjust its vision, thats how strong minded Jotaro is. Some stands are not even remotely human, some can be an electrical outlet and some can be a swarm of long range 500 bugs which can harvest anything the user wants. Oh and by the way, there is a gun stand called The Emperor 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅

So Jojo's is considered a masterpiece, I truly recommend to you, maybe to react on the channel. The manga started in 1987, it's divided in 9 parts, it's still ongoing during these days and it's the 9th longest manga ever. His popularity was able to make "part 7" the second highest rated manga on my anime list. It has influences from (and influenced to) any kind of pop culture, like real songs and bands, movies, fashion world, real events, ecc... LOTS of references. Like that guy you called Indiana Jones, he's actually really inspired to him. Like 24:46 this guy is actually speaking real Italian. Araki (the mangaka) has done many collaboration with famous brand like Gucci, Balenciaga, Mercedes, other fashion brands and his works were exposed at the Louvre due to his amazing art style that is so recognizable and unique. The anime started in 2012 and for now it covers 6 of 9 parts. Basically it's the bizzarre story of the descendants of the Joestar family, which are all called with the nickname JoJo, each one the main character for each part. Every part is unique from the other but ofc they are all connected. Also the power systems and characters influenced so many other mangas and anime, like basically most of the battle shonen that uses some time of power (one piece, naruto, jjk, db, bleach, ecc).
