I actually guessed what the enchantment book thing was leading up towards. Back when the Too Many Items mod added the ability to add enchantments to items, you had no restrictions on what enchantments (or level of said enchantment) could be added to whatever item you wanted. Enchantments like Silk Touch, Knockback, Fire Aspect, and Sharpness worked on anything because they were additive to the item. (A lot of people may be familiar with enchanting Knockback X on a stick or something)

I've had some funny incidents regarding death messages before. When you get enough mobs on the screen, Minecraft kinda starts to freak out. My personal favourite occured in the Nether: was Fireballed by Skeleton. The falling Anvil one is pretty good too.

Neither a Curse of Vanishing book, nor a book with both Curse of Vanishing and Silk Touch will disappear if you die. At least not in 1.14.3 where I just tested it.

you can name a mob something and itll be named that in the chat for example name a zombie "a strange mob" and when you die itll say "Name was slain by a strange mob" this works in java edition and probably other versions too
