Thank you, Ben! Junhyung vocals are amazing! And yes, they have all had a glow up with this one. The whole album is so good! WALL is my favorite but the more I listen to X-Ray the more that may change.

The thing about Ghost 9 for me, and why I'm such a fan of them is that even if I don't love their ENTIRE discography there are always 1 or 2 songs from every album that make my top 5 for the entire year. I'm still jumping to Think of Dawn, Flying at Night, Splash, Focus, Starvoy, Control and cosmos.

I've been looking forward to your reaction Ben! You're right about the maturity thing, I think that started with Control, because before that everything was about the wonder of discovery (alternate dimensions, both dystopian and utopian), so they were all innocent and wide-eyed. Then with Control, things got darker and they experienced more conflict in the mv, and with this one, I think they are sort of taking ownership of the darkness? Also the styling on Kangsung and Jinwoo I think is especially intended to make them look more mature, Jinwoo because this is his first time with short hair (and he's literally fighting back against Kangsung and Shin during that one part), and Kangsung because he has previously been styled in a much softer way that emphasized his more delicate/feminine side imo. For favorites, I don't know if anything will ever beat Think of Dawn for me, but I love the energy of this one, the sound and the beat, and wait til you see the full choreo, it's so cool, especially when Woojin and Prince actually launch Junseong into the air lol. Also nobody asked but I love all of Kangsung's adlibs toward the end in the last chorus :)
