As some of you know, 'Cold in July' is based on the novel by Joe R. Lansdale. I only bring this up because he's been writing great stories since the 80s and I'm so glad that filmmakers are finally bringing his stories to the screen (see also Hap and Leonard). 'Cold in July' is a thriller of impeccable caliber, worthy to be named in the same breath as 'Fargo' or 'Seven.'

Also on Tubi check out the 2009 Serbian animated feature film Technotise: Edit & I. Written and directed by comic artist Aleksa Gajić.
