I’ve stated this in a few replies but it keeps getting brought up so I’ll put it here. The reason I said that it counts pity from before 5.0 is because there have been instances where people who lost 50/50s before the update still got radiance. Also, keep in mind that literally no one knows exactly how the radiance system works due to Hoyoverse not saying anything outside of 55/45 rates. Everything here is just theories that have been crafted with the data that we’ve gotten from players wishing, but it’s possible that the system is even more complex than what I showed in this video.

When there is any ultra rare resource like primogem is involved, then only luck matters in such sytems based on 99% in the favor of the developer team. So, work on your primogem farming and be selective in buying any character from wishes.

If you save more primogems like 100,000 or even 50,000 then you can easily get 2-3 good 5 star every year. Just remember why you need the specific character and then only go after it. Else there is no need to even check these wishes banners.

I also lost 50/50. It's the fact that I lost 50/50 twice on her banner (probably even 3 times if I was active during her first rerun). I'm a returning player so I still have a lot of pulls to get to guarantee nahida but man, it sucks since now I might not even be able to guarantee mauvika (sure I can reach to 80 pity but I still might lose) and I also want zhongli who might be rerunning soon

Well, we know that Mavuika isn’t in 5.2 because of the Chasca and Ororon drip market and they’re probably gonna release the masters of the night wind and flower feather tribe in 5.2. If Mavuika is 5.3 then you’ll still be able to have a lot of primos before then so don’t lose hope just yet 🩵

I have the biggest feeling that zhongli will rerun in 5.2 because his last rerun was in 4.0. My favorite characters kinda need zhongli to feel less clunky battling aggressive enemies in spiral abyss (klee, lyney, and ganyu) so I don't know if I can get both of em since I'm a bit unlucky😔

I've lost almost every 50 50 ever like really. In a year old account. Other then my first for childe like a year ago. Until I won my nahida 5050 then lost to dehya for c-2 then got nahida c-2 at 32 pity. Whatever they did it helped my 50 50 luck and I'm grateful.

i lost all my 50/50's on an account(ar 56) i was playing on for a while and i mean like 5 50/50's i finally decided to stop playing that account when i lost kinich. I had a different acc on a diff server with a few pulls(from stuff like compensations), decided to see how it would go: diluc on first ten pull(7 pity)(noelle banner), kinich(40 pity), raiden(22 pity), xilonen(37 pity), nahida(74 pity)

I thought the capturing radiance was a system that is 1/10 to get, if you are close to losing the 50/50, the capturing radiance has 1/10 chance to save you by 45/50, i may be wrong tho-

Ouch, that hurts. Nah you should just ignore the existence of the new Capturing Radiance. Rule of thumb is if you've lost your most recent 50/50, the next will be guaranteed. Same old rule. it's just packaged differently now. Just marketing gimmick to me. New improved "Formula" offering 5% more, same great taste... Key note is same great taste... 😂

Other players have gotten capturing radiance when they lost 50/50s pre-5.0, meaning it likely counts that pity. Keep in mind that this is all theorizing and not the confirmed way of how the system works because hoyo insists on gatekeeping that information.
