Famicom Detective 1+2 absolutely needs to get a physical in the West. Also I remember PlayAsia had a pre-order for the Portal Companion Collection that got cancelled for some odd reason. Hopefully LRG or another publisher prints that soon.

Okay, just watched the whole video and my suggestion for a physical release is the indie hit from way back when, called Fez. It had tons of press back in the day as an indie darling and the platforming mechanics plus beautiful artstyle make that game a slam dunk for a physical release imo. Great video by the way! 😊👍

I'd like to see the original Corpse Party, the original Amnesia (+machine for pigs), 999+VLR (it's incredible how these aren't on the switch yet), and I'd like to see a port of the first 3 fatal frame games

Would love a SaGa Collection physical. Some other games I've wanted a physical for also: 1. Solar Ash - technically this did get a physical, but it's stuck in a sold-out $200 mega-collection. It deserves a stand alone. 2. Dogurai - This has a PS4 physical, so a Switch version would make sense. Maybe as a collection with other small games? 3. Toree Series - The first game is in a physical collection, but the later games definitely need physicals too. 4. Spectacular Sparky - This is published by Nicalis, so they could do a physical if they wanted. 5. Katana Zero - Not sure why this hasn't had a physical already, tbh. 6. Pankapu - This almost got a physical from "Warned Collectors" but the company folded. Still think it deserves a chance. 7. Disney Afternoon Collection - Ok, it's not even on Switch... but it SHOULD be.

“Even if it’s through Limited Run” almost sounds like a threat tbh! 😂 I have to say that companies like LRG have been on the line of being more negative than positive for game preservation.

LRG has been more greedy as of late and their releases haven’t been as great. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP isn’t going to have the bug fixes on the cart, Contra Operation Galuga’s manual is paper thin, and DOOM Eternal’s DLC never got a physical on Switch.

Minor note since it's the one you showed: I believe the ESRB release for Final Fantasy X/X-2 is actually just X on the physical cartridge and X-2 is a download code. But the Japanese or Asian release has both on the cartridge. Anyway if we're talking North America Switch physicals, mine is easy: The Phoenix Wright Trilogy collection. It never got a ESRB release which now looks extra weird now that the rest of the series has gotten a release on Switch (Layton Crossover excluded) and each of those got a NA release. I imported the Japanese release for the Wright games since it did have English language included so at least I do have a physical, even if the spine and box art are Japanese compared to the rest (most of this could also apply to Ghost Trick especially since they mentioned it in the recent series trailer but I haven't played that game. Do own it though, also the import release)

Good list. Nintendo really should've released Famicom Detective Club and Future Redeemed physically by now. Spike Chunsoft localised Bakeru for the West (not Marvelous), given LRG have worked with them before i think it's highly likely they'll publish it evantually. Another Square Enix game I'd love to see release physically is Paranormasight.

Super Cyborg - Probably the best run ‘n gun on the system; Prison City - an awesome throwback to NES games like Power Blade; Knight Vs Giant - a pretty good Hades-like; and I’d love to see the Aleste Collection get an English version

Other switch games that need physical: 1. Blizzard arcade collection 2. Diablo 2 3. Actraiser (new game) 4. Ghosts n goblins (new game) 5. Totally agree on portal 6. There was a limited ntsc release of blaster master trilogy...wish they would do a reprint 6. Wish they would do a trilogy release of crysis physical ntsc 7. Star wars battlefront (hoping limited run will do but they did other star wars since then and skipped this one??)

Japanese Bayonetta 1 on switch did have English included (maybe because English translation was done back when the game was releasing on PS3 / Xbox 360. No your NA copy of Final Fantasy X / X-2 does not have both games on the cartridge. They were just cheap there. The only version that has it is the Japanese version (and SEA version). Luckily it has also English on the cartridge. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has actually a very high chance of a rerelease with the DLC. However I think it will not be under current Switch system, but under the next generation system. That also goes for several other games that were released without a DLC on a cartridge and are strong first party Nintendo games.

Mark of the Ninja is one of the greatest stealth games ever made and it shockingly NEVER got a physical release even after being released on like 6 platforms and remastered.

We probably won't get a physical copy of XBC3 including Future Redeemed on Switch, but it is quite likely that we get a XBC3 complete edition on Switch 2.

@@RebmunModnar Sad but true, however if the switch 2 gets a physical version of XBC3 that includes all the DLC🤔🤔 I’d be perfectly happy with that I’d actually like a complete edition of of Xenoblade chronicles 2 that includes all the DLC on the next system. Because that was some really good DLC for that game 💕💕💕💕 I sadly lost my copies of XBC3 and Xenoblade chronicles for the switch 😓 so I’ve been to buy them again. So I’m on the fence between waiting and just buying them?

ABSOLUTLY BRING FINAL FANTASY 15 POCKET EDITION MUST BE PHYSICAL I LOVE THIS STYLE GAMES WOULD LOVE TO PLEASE ON SWITCH PS4 AND PS5. plus like you said they have all the other games physical why not this one. and if i can add they need to make a physical port to switch ps4/ps5 of final fantasy 3 hd from the nin. DS or from psp ported over to new hardware. also final fantasy the 4 heroes of light. ported physical to all hardware. such a great gem. i know that braverly default is probably inspired by 4 heroes of light but still nothing like playing this fun animated rpg. also braverly default and braverly second end layer need to be ported to switch why this hasn't happen yet. all we got was braverly default 2.

Star Ocean: First Departure R is one of the missing physicals that puzzles me the most. I expected Square Enix would give it another release physically to increase awareness of the series before releasing Star Ocean: The Second Story R. But nope, didn't happen. Yet another missed opportunity.
