6:00 What a noob. When either of my boys were 16, if I heard them tell someone they didn't want to hang out because they wanted to spend time with me I would have known they were plotting something. The first clue would have been them having a conversation close enough to let me hear. That conversation was planned.

In the church I grew up in, once you're confirmed at 13 you're an adult. I was raised expecting that. I was free from my parents! It was GREAT! I had to accept consequences but didn't ever have to ask permission to do anything. These stories showed me a different world where a young adult could pretend to be 10 and their parents helped with that. 🤪
