Alright so I'm sure this varies, but the Amish community where I live, this is a rough explanation of how they do stuff. They can't own advance technology, but that doesn't mean they can't use them. For instance, you can hire some men to frame a house and they will bring their own hand tools, BUT if you provide them with electric tools, they can use them no problem. And that premise is basically in every area of life - like the hospital stuff and an electric bike. People will often let them borrow trucks and electric bikes while they are hired to do a job to help it go faster. Then it's just all given back to the owner.
