Finn, people who hate live in their own reality. Your true and honest viewers just love to hear your input on anything. I have never once thought that you're getting stale. It literally never crossed my mind. You genuinely just have to tune these people out. Some people will never be happy. Let them be negative. Keep doing what you're doing. Seriously. I don't know what the views speak to, but I always tune into your dialog about anything. Your tier lists are great no matter what you're talking about. We just like hearing your silver tongue bullshit about anything, even fast food. If it helps, just don't read the comments. Cause you're not doing anything wrong. There's a reason you pull views and have made it big. You're really knowledgeable and funny about what you talk about, no matter what you talk about. Keep going, brother. We love ya.

Thank you Finn for all your content. I'm a big fan. I've greatly enjoyed your 90s and millennial music content as it transports me back to better days. But more than that, it's your humour, personality and insights/opinions that have made your channel my favourite place on the internet. The videos are so down to earth, authentic, relatable and just great company. You are the only creator that can truely make me laugh out loud even on a bad day. In fact, your uploads are the only ones I really look out for. No matter what the topic, your videos are always a joy to watch. You really have a talent for explaining things, whether the topic is or music or culture. I love your takes on current music too, like awards shows or music in the charts right now (you had some great insights into country music in a recent video. It's so entertaining to hear you break these things down). I think you also have a great way of explaining life stuff and how to overcome challenges, so I think there's much more we can learn from you. It sounds like being a creator is a difficult terrain to navigate, so you need to do whats best for you, whatever form that takes. You have some real super fans on here, some of us are just the quiet ones! Thanks again and take care, Laura

@capnjames7 ай бұрын
I agree. It felt like he had a chance at being a curator of sorts. I enjoyed the podcast with Fats’e quite a bit for example. Even if that type of content tanks the whole point of it is like who else is interviewing or talking about underground artists in that realm or to that capacity, other than maybe neopunkfm, but at times it’s nice to hear the perspective of someone who has been around the block a few times seeing music genres and scenes rise and fall, having the context to relate new sounds and movements back to the source while also giving the newer artists and music the credit and audience it deserves. I think if Finn continued down that road it wouldn’t have as much immediate success as the nu metal/Millennial content, but taking that route would’ve probably grown to be more successful and interesting in the end. Look at Fantano, I knew they’re not directly comprable, but at least he seems to do what he wants and isn’t afraid to talk about things absolutely no one knows or cares about, thus he ends up being ahead of the curve or right on the pulse of music news, even covering artists no one other media source will. Yes it’s a business, but no Finn doesn’t need to pander and rehash the same content over and over again to maintain success in the business. Content aside, I feel like Finn is slightly more misogynistic and and overall more conservative in the way he speaks and caters to his audience than he used to be, but maybe that’s just me.

Since I was a tween I've always loved learning the history of bands. How they got started, their influences, and things that happened over the course of their career. I honestly would tell my parents I wanted to be a music historian! LOL! That was in the early 90s. I'm now a Realtor and am living vicariously through FINN! Plz don't stop! I thought I already knew everything and I get so much new info from you

No sugar coating in that video. Your frustration is glaring and I genuinely got sad watching. I watch your content because you’re the type of person I’d have at my BBQ. Regardless of the subject material, your personality is what keeps most of us here. Keep your head up.

Your content is what reinvigorated my love of heavy music. The haters are just mad because their greasy neckbeards are itchy and they're too unshowered to remember why.

The content that made me keep coming back was the breakdowns of genres and history of different bands which also got me in to a lot of the music I listen to now very informative

I find this funny because I don't listen to any of the music Finn covers but I enjoy his breakdowns on cultural monents/sub-cultures that I have close to no exposure to. I'm probably an outlier but I fw his videos

How can someone unironically hate Finn? You're one of the few creators I watch who actually lived in the 90s to tell us how it was
@nebulysses71247 ай бұрын
That's why I ironically hate him... Wait, how does that even work? Jk. But now I'm seriously contemplating how to consciously hate someone ironically. Or if that's even possible.

I've been watching Finn since late 2019/early 2020 and honestly my favorite topics are always the self improvement ones about relatable things like going back to college and turning ones life around. The tier lists though are a close 2nd. I've found tons of music I like through these two channels two, and I like that Finn often says things that I don't always agree with.

I always found it fascinating how you approached music from a marketing perspective. You're the only channel (that i'm aware of) that has that discourse, and I find it super interesting. I play in punk bands since forever and absolutely no one in the scene takes that into account.

It feels good to finally see you talk about this because I’ve felt you frustrated for a while now. I first started watching PRMBA because it made me discover so many new bands. I didn’t even know slam was a thing. I started tuning out when you started just laughing at old stuff. I systematically don’t click on any video that has the word "cringe" in the title. You have so much more knowledge and insight to give than to take easy swipes at bands that have fallen out of style. I know I’m not the common viewer, but I’d love to have you talk some more about what’s going on right now than Limp Bizkit.

I must admit, I do not even always see videos that are not related to things I am already interested in. Sometimes I just don't click on them, sometimes they are not even very visible in my feed. I do always appreciate different perspectives on things I am interested in. You have said many things that I do not agree with, but I appreciate the different perspective and that is great. Ultimately, if everyone was like me this would still probably result in fewer views for things that are different than 1990s-2000s metal/rock. Additionally, there are only so many things that can be said about music that was made 30 years ago. The thing that consumers of content fail to realize is that content sources all eventually must end, change, or become stale. There is no way around that inevitability. Your videos are great! I have been exposed to a lot of new music and information from your videos and I am grateful for all you have done.

I like when you talk about new music, especially stuff I wouldn't really like but you do. I guess there aren't many people who look forward to that stuff, unfortunately. I enjoy getting a window into stuff that isn't part of my normal listening habits, with some insights into what those scenes and musicians are like. I legit got into some newer music due to your older videos, especially trap metal. In my opinion, my favorite part of your nostalgic videos is about how the music "died" and what filled that void going forward. Gave me a different view on music as a whole and helped break away from gatekeepers and such. Keep on keeping on.
