I’ve seen this in-game. There are dudes who walk off the top of that building, facing the building and do this jump glitch all the way down. They don’t seem to take any damage from it. Thats probably what they did to get away.

the reason the boxes are closed and have no loot is because after some time they just close back up, sometimes they dont have anything but most times they are just looted. the game just closes them again

Timeless if you didn’t know this you can actually get into the top floor of research conference room by going up the ladder on the right side of research and dropping into the window of conference room. It might take a few tries so I recommend going naked if you want to try it.
