There's a small difference with the BFG-50 and the SFG-50. The SFG-50 has a "Choke" which means the bullet won't always land on the center so it may turn and narrowly miss your target.

5:32 I remember hearing a story that the Obrez was made because of the russians entering a tunnel in ww1 and it was very close ranged so their rifles were efficient so they made a version of it that had a very short barrel It may not be true but that is the story i heard

It is because the russians needed pistols for close-range / trench warfare, but only had a bunch of mosind, so they cut them to be more useable as a "pistol".

Obrez works good as secondary sniper even without 8mm, just try long barrel, normal scope and snipe. Not much different feeling from short barrel Mosin. Also 9mm Saiga is so underrated. Try using it if you love underrated guns.
