You got the right solution to the a, b, c function problem but you reversed the order of the x-intercepts: since the x-coordinates of the intercepts will be (x-a) and (x-b), and a < b, b will lie to the left of a as b is a larger value.

on negative axis as you go left you go smaller. so a should be to the left of b!

For 8.1, wouldn’t the answer be 11 since for the cubic yard conversions, you have to cube the conversion factor

use this for doing the 7, for ex b is 70% more than a, (b-a)/a x 100 = p%... so basically why b-a? the one is bigger minus the lower one, and why a lower, couse "more/less then WHAT" which reffers the question to, x 100 is just for percent :)

look man , if r was less that c, than the point (0,8) would cross the graph 3 times, but we gotta cross it once, and when the graph is getting higher, we should put r even a bit more right than c so it will hit the dam graph once, r>c in that case , just look at cordinates, r's x cordinate should be moreeee
