These "Rare" Fake LPS Sell for CRAZY Prices

As a Slavic collector, I see them all the time, and they don't get that much of interest here. Im not sure why they're addressed as 'romanian', they were definitely released in more counties than just Romania LOL Edit: huh, interesting! I own a few myself, and mine do actually bobble a bit! They have a cheaper, weirder mechanism than LPS but they do slightly bobble!

these pets do have springs for them to bobble!! but it can get broken easily, i used to have the shorthair cat and it always needed some fixing for the bobble 🥲

the pets used to have springs on their "shroom pegs" when I first got them as a kid, I also used to put those little rubbers under their head to keep their heads higher when the springs stopped working

I'm romanian and I literally never saw these designs until now 😂 I have to admit tho, I have a few very weirdly made fake lps back from my childhood, they have bright neon colors too but their head doesn't bobble at all (:c). If I remember correctly, I got them with a snack that has one (or a smaller pack of) random toy(s) inside the packaging

Based on my limited research and (basic understanding of Russian), it seems these deco pets were likely released in Russia around 8-10 years ago, not that long after the release of the 3rd generation of LPS and deco pets. Although the packaging text is in English and the products are made in China, most unboxing videos I found were in Russian, suggesting they may have been exclusively released only there. The packaging varied, with sets of 1, 2, or even 3 pets, and came in different colors, like dark blue or white, or just in simple plasitc bag with minimal branding on the top. You can check out a playlist I made to watch some unboxing videos of these lps. Unfortunately, none of the videos had high enough quality to read the text on the back of the box. These fake pets are quite easy to find in Poland and are usualy very cheap, because no one is interested in buying them. They vere probably bought by some Poles while visiting Russia and sold on flea markets, which were popular back in the day.

I bought the same exact pets off of AliExpress and I only use them for customs. I mean they’re not the best but you can hot glue their head to keep it in place and literally just customize them. That’s what I did, but yeah these are definitely kind of suck.
