@Jtitor1779 ай бұрын
The demand for A list celebs and all celebs will diminish in time. AI Films will create characters that do not exist in IRL. People will eventually only care about the stories and characters. Not the “people” who tell the stories and play the characters. Hollywood as it has existed is on its way out.
@curiousrefuge9 ай бұрын
You might be right! We think this technology will certainly change the industry. However, existing creatives in the film industry can also use these tools to do amazing things.

Hollywood is an insane nepotistic cult full of self obsessed weirdos that are vastly overpaid for their craft. And I work in film. Couldn't happen to a more deserving industry.
@Jtitor1779 ай бұрын
@@curiousrefuge Oh definitely. A friend of mine works in the indie film industry and has for years. He and his production company are looking at all the ways they can utilize and adopt AI in your their workflows and processes. I think with Hollywood however there will come a time when paying millions of dollars a film to actors will be obsolete and a thing of the past relinquishing any power and influence the Hollywood elite had on society. Will take time and at the soonest I feel that won’t be until the 2030’s at the latest but it will happen regardless.

Fascinating and very worthwhile information. Thank you. I especially appreciate the Runway updates. As a side note, I can't believe that anyone would ever willingly try to add that gross teal-and-orange colour grading to, well, anything. Of all colour combinations, that has got to be the most unappealing, and it still amazes me that that it has become the monolithic, go-to approach to colour distortion in an outsize majority of films and TV shows. I long for the days of the full colour spectrum that we used to see in movies.
