Oh my god. Just yesterday I was trying to mask individual fingers on a curled hand (super annoying) ... this would've been so useful. Next time! Thanks for the insight.

That proximity brush would've saved me a lot of time in many situations! I'd be interested in your character creation process, one thing I really like is the armour you make

I had no idea masking had a adjacent geometry only mode, that's gonna be super handy! As for your character creation process, I'd love to see the whole thing. I'd prefer seeing hair, clothing and armour making since that's what I struggle with the most, but having videos or series of videos explaining the full process is an invaluable resource that many can benefit from

I'd love to see the character creation process from start to finish, as it would allow a beginner sculptor like me a chance to see how a proper character gets made and when I'm stuck I can refer to a certain part of the video. Would be immensely helpful and entertaining to see the full process.

When you ask if we are curious about something, I just thought "If you upload anything. Literally anything blender related, I'm okay." Blender educational videos, especially in human/character development are so rare and many are so outdated that you aren't sure what's applicable in latest versions of blender.

Thank you so much. I did not know about the Shift+A and 3 function. Masking can be a pain I also found out you can do this with face set sets. A very useful tip as always. 👍

I would really like to see the variety of ways you start a model. Multiple spheres, or flat plane that you shape against a drawing and then extrude, all the other ways I don’t know about. I’m just starting sculpting so right now I find not knowing how to start is the biggest hurdle.

After trying it for a long time, I gave up on sculpting for most hard surface stuff. I usually now use poly modeling. It's ultra boring, but it get's the job done in the best way I've discovered so far. I'm uploading a video on Tuesday that shows my workflow for the DVA model you see in this video, including the suit. :)

Hey Got any videos for tips on how to sculpt a Yellow riding bird (not a Chocobo honest, really I mean that I would never recreate the IP of a big company), Or bat/dragon/demon like wings. I want to make the membrane elastic for like posing and stuff, I'm new to this blender thing.
@Noggi_3D
@Noggi_3D 2 жыл бұрын
I would probably model the wings. Use a few vertices + skin modifier for the "arm" part of the wings and a plane + solidify modifier for the flappy part. Sculpting thin stuff can get very annoying. :)

is there an explanation why are they shoot something like that? spawns too much vertices on corners?
@Noggi_3D

If vertices are shooting off like that you have a topology problem and you really should retopologize. I know a lot of sculptors hate doing that but the time saved is worth it.
@Noggi_3D
@Noggi_3D 2 жыл бұрын
This usually happens with my retopologized models. It just came to me that that bug might be caused by two vertices sitting on top of each other! :o
