I bought a pair of the original Kef Wireless and despite the price tag, they are honestly one of the bargains of the HiFi world. Put them on stands, get them 8ft apart and enjoy your slice of audio bliss. HiFi audio that's fully controllable from your phone is domestic luxury that's worth every penny.

One of the most demanding tracks to audition new speakers is AC/DC's It’s a Long Way to the Top. When the bagpipes kick in, any speaker gets a real work-out. I would love to blast that track over these bad boys.

This is exactly what I said when I visited a HiFi shop six years ago when I saw the original Kef Wireless speakers. The staff basically stopped work and gathered round to gave me a demo. And predictably my jaw dropped when I heard them. Despite their appearance, they sound clean, tight and go as loud and deep as any bookshelf you'll find. Strangest of all is their dispersion: they're among the widest bookshelf speakers for soundstage. "Sweet spot" becomes irrelevant. Never seen such a broad, bold delivery from such a tiny looking driver. I bought a pair that week and swear by Kef since.

No wonder you didn't mention the price in the video 😮. That's more for two wireless speakers than my LCR Reference Premiers. How can anyone justify these for the price? I imagine the goal is portable with them being wireless but who is moving them around at this price point? And if your not mobile you could buy better for less with purchasing an amplifier.
@drewskills202 жыл бұрын
As someone who sells these amongst many other brands and speakers including your reference premiers... no you cant. You get all your moneys worth with this pair

@@drewskills20 I respectfully disagree. What need are these speakers serving? There not for home theater and don't seem geared for a dedicated listening room so exactly how does one use probable $2700 speakers?
@drewskills202 жыл бұрын
@@Analyzer52 theyre not to be portable speakers. I think youre underestimating how important good quality sound matched with aesthetics are...this is for someone who wants high quality sound in 2 channels that looks good and easy/simple like a soundbar. Think replacing a soundbar with a high quality solution an no need to find a big bulky amp OR deal with a remote from an avr. He didnt mention it but this has optical and ARC support
@Analyzer522 жыл бұрын
@@drewskills20 The person that uses a sound bar has no interest in $2700 speakers. There is nothing more pleasing looking at these speakers than any of the other quality brands. They are nice but to me there is no getting around they are way overpriced for what they are.
@doifeellucky2 жыл бұрын
@@Analyzer52 This is an all in one, speakers, amp, DAC, streamer, without the clutter and potential compatibility issues. I think every review I’ve seen says you can’t get close to the sound quality using separate components for what these cost. How much does your system cost in total for speakers, amp, DAC and streamer? I’ve not heard them however so can’t comment on what they actually sound like, and I do have a separates system that costs less than these, but that is due to my budget at the time.

so much wrong with this presentation...... amp is NOT as important as speakers. a true audiophile will tell you fifty percent of your budget is spent on the speakers. speakers are THE MOST important part of your system. your amp should be enough to drive them but should only be around 30 percent of budget. believe it or not you only need about 25 to 50 watts to drive good speakers. not sure which audiophiles you have been talking to but find different people. if 108 db is all they put out with wattage advertised that means efficiency of the speakers are only about 82 db per watt per meter. not real good. 6 inch drivers with such small magnets on the sub will not be able to recover fast enough which will cause a hum in the bass. opposing speakers don't get rid of case vibration the padding and insulation and speaker material do that. if both are driven speakers that fire at the same time in opposite directions they cancel each other out....a true audiophile sub is either ported or has passive speaker in 180 degree opposition to enhance the bass or is a single speaker in a sealed enclosure. the streaming services mentioned are good but provide lossy streaming unless you subscribe and pay for the lossless version which is your audiophile standard....this is not mentioned by you or them. i understand they may have sent them to you possibly for free with the trade of a good online review and if you like them great but true audiophle set up? out of a two way speaker system? with an inferior sub? sorry....this 'review' sounds more like a sales pitch for free speakers to me. as a true audiophile over the past 40+ years i can truly say true audiophile wouldn't have this set up. It may be good but i feel many misleading claims are made by the manufacturer about this system. 2800 bucks and no sub is the price i'm finding and that is WAY overpriced. www.crutchfield.com/p_991LS50W2W/KEF-LS50-Wireless-II-Mineral-White.html
