I bought VRT at 70.08 on August 9th and up 50.08%. It went to 60 something and I set an alert at 70 and bought. I’ve noticed it follows NVDA (Nvidia Corporation). When it goes up VRT goes up and when it goes down VRT goes down.

Gld and btc are perfectly correlated with stocks. They all move together with minor variations. You can't hedge with a correlated asset. That's why 20yr treasuries are the preferred hedge.
