Welcome back to the Ultimate Hardcore Killer Challenge Episode 6!
In this video, we continue the Dead By Daylight Hardcore Killer challenge in Iridescent grades after the loss of The Oni. Now that I am no longer allowed to use perks, my killer roster is wearing thin and these survivors are playing to win!
RULES :
If a survivor escapes the trial either by exit gate or by hatch, that killer I am playing dies and cannot be used for the rest of the challenge.
Every killer must use the same build and are not allowed to use any addons or offerings.
Once I've obtained gold grades, I am no longer allowed to slug for the 4K.
Once I enter Iridescent grades, I am no longer allowed to use perks.
If I run out of killers before reaching Iridescent I, the challenge is over
All matches will count towards challenge which include survivor bots, lag issues, or stream snipers.
Matches that include blatant cheating or lag switches will not be counted.

Zero perks, zero add-ons, 4K at 3 gens with Legion. He destroyed the team of course he got 0 pips. The survivors barely had time to do anything, so there wasn’t much gameplay or engagement.

This was the most infuriating thing about the adept achievements. Needing to win, but not winning too quickly. It's nice that they FINALLY changed it after years or it being shit, but unfortunately it's still shit. Amazes me how easy survivor adepts are compared to killer adepts.

Agreed. The entire purpose for the killer in DBD is to kill survivors. It's Ludacris to achieve that purpose and not get a pip. Should never be about interaction when the end goal is the same. Why punish a killer when the survivors aren't playing so well or just throwing? DBD never really implemented a good or even acceptable ranking system.

The dcs and throws have been crazy lately while I was playing survivor I had 3 dcs on badam against a thana hysteria oni. I love this series and it's been really cool to see how quick the game can change from moment to moment

It's to the point, he may lose a killer per trial and he still needs ALOT of pips. It would be different if he didn't opt to make the challenge so much more difficult by his rules. No perks atm, no add ons and hatch kills the killer. Spooky is good but you need to be amazing to finish what he started. I hope he makes it :)

Just want to say props to the editing for this series! Every match is nailbiting and the time wasting stuff seems to have been cut out but not so heavily that we don't get the sense of the game flow. Love it and looking forward to the next one :D

The first game is the perfect example on how I do not like the pipping system. The fact you only lost that pip cause of the 3 hooks you didn't get (or more) because people gave up, is a pain. Them giving up, should not cost you points, you should have had that first pip. You're awesome Spooky, keep it up.

I know you're going for max difficulty, but if you wanted to (I know it's too late now, but just in case you do this with survivors), once you hit iridescent or gold, for every game you win, you take away one perk, instead of jumping from 4 to none. So like, game 42, 4 perks, won, game 43, 3 perks, won, game 44, 2 perks, lost, character change, game 45, 4 perks, etc But if you like the sudden death way, I do too, honestly. It's fun to watch and definitely more satisfying when you get a 4k

Love the idea you're doing with DBD, I feel to make it even more challenging you should just have the name of the killers on paper and draw them randomly out of a hat or a wheel instead of you being able to pick what killer you should be next.

I'm doing this exact challenge as Spooky, inspired by him. I don't have all the killers, I don't think I have even half, maybe around that though, anyway so I gave myself a rule of "2 or more kills is a win" and I have a 12 win streak with Billy, he got me through all the way from silver rank to gold. And I'm actually surprised myself 😂 I've gone against sabo squads, flashlight duos, buckle-up duos, and Billy is still going strong.

I said it in an earlier episode, but rather than no slugging a more interesting rule would be that you cannot play any killer more than 3 times. That way you can still get max 'value' from a killer while getting good variaty and still being able to play around the hatch.

I understand what they were trying to accomplish with this Pip system but something REALLY needs to be fixed if they are gonna punish the killer for the survivors giving up. You already throw the survivors the free bone of hatch AND 50/50 doors afterwards, AT LEAST allow the killer to get extra points towards their pip if the survivors intentionally throw. They should be able to tell when a survivor intentionally walks up to the killer and lets themselves be double smacked>hooked>then not hitting skill checks. Mans is not slugging, no add-o, NO PERKS, AND STILL making survivors rage quit in red ranks. THAT ALONE deserves a reward, no being punished.

I think what would be a cool idea for the challenge is in red ranks, start with 4 perks on Iri 4, and each rank you increase, you remove 1 perk. Iri 3 you only have 3 perks, 2 is 2 perks, etc etc.

Does benching Wesker mean that he can come back if necessary? I would assume so. Also, if it somehow came down to it. I would use Nurse as the VERY LAST killer for this challenge, Save the best for last kinda rule.
