Methadone and buprenorphine are for opiate abuse. Funny because instead of detox they usually end up on maintenance and it’s worse withdrawals for the long half life of methadone and buprenorphine. It sucks that people who need pain management are being ignored and being told they’re addicts when they just need it for better quality of life… chronic illnesses and such. Anyways, I bring that up because why bring up methadone for addicts? Thats weird. Survival show addicts are opiate abusing addicts? Last time I checked addicts can be addicted to anything and methadone definitely doesn’t cure or treat alcohol addiction. Nicotine addiction. Crack or meth addiction. Video game addiction. Sects addiction. Etc. So why do u presume an addict is an opiate addict? I shouldn’t be alive addicts are adrenaline junkies if they’re stuck on it… how would methadone be a representative for that? (Regarding this show or fake reliving it?) it’s not an analogy that works whatsoever.

Lastly, the will to survive is everything. Its more important than any skill you can develop if you've got that you've got a chance.. the stronger the will the stronger the chance. Its why people with no survival experience can get stranded and live to tell the tell.

In everything I've seen in the world the people who get lost out in the wilderness for a prolonged time....that have no survival skills or at least a sorta educated common sense don't tend to make it out alive

Those people wich encountered the bear shouldnt have fired at him. sometimes bears charge towards animals (or people) they never saw before to see what they do in an combat situation. they usualy stop 2-3 feet after this.
