Great video showing how tough and resourceful these tankers are. We should give them some the Abrams we have sitting in storage. I am certain the Ukrainians would figure out how to use and support the new equipment - just look what they have accomplished with the new technology we have supplied thus far. This war is not a game, every day that slips by means more of Ukraine is destroyed and more innocents die. The Ukrainians have earned our trust and respect, we need to seriously arm them to bring this conflict to an end.

Alright, let's go over it for the 117th time. -The M1 weighs 60 tons, which means that none of existing armored recovery vehicle or tanks can pull it out of the mud, when it gets stuck. Which means that we also have to supply these things, and to train them. -The M1 uses nato ammo and 3-4 times as much fuel, which means that UA soldiers will have to resupply 4 times as much as they already doing. Not to mention, that the US would have to prioritize things, "Do we send them more javelins, or tank ammo"? There's not unlimited cargo place on a plane, despite what you may think. -Any battle damaged M1 would have to be transported all the way back to a NATO country, which would cause traffic and even block it. Which in turn would expose the UA soldiers transporting the tank, and the ones doing the resupply. Do i have to go on or do you get the idea?

The Abrams are NOT like Russian tanks which might NOT be great tanks, but they can be abused and still work, American technology is NOT like that, it's doesn't take abuse too well! For comparison take the AK-47, a 200 yard weapon under the best of circumstances against the M-16, a 500 yard weapon...but very CHOOSY on maintenance and ammunition! For that reason I never carried an M-16 during my 2 consecutive years in Vietnam, but an M3A1 .45 caliber "Grease Gun" with an Ithica silencer which would fire in the dirt, mud, water and covered in rust... it was effective and didn't have to be "coddled"!

The tanks shown here are T-64 BV model 2017's so they were built after 1985 and modernized between 2017 and 2022. They're actually newer than just about anything Ukraine can hope to field in this conflict, including western MBT's.

Excellent video! I am impressed with journalists who let the people in the story & the images do most of the talking, rather than the journalist telling the entire story!👍👍 It is somewhat humorous to think that the tanks are older than these brave young men! This is very different than what occurred in conflicts in the previous century, 1939, 1952, etc. when the tanks were manufactured a month or two before the crew climbed in the tank. If my Tank ID is correct this looks like a T-84. It’s a tank based on the T-80 that Ukraine modernized and improved upon after the Soviet a union fell. The commander summed up the difference between the Ukrainians and the orcs. He said people are more important than equipment. You can tell he cares about his crew, unlike the Russians, just tossing cannon fodder onto the battlefield.

Thats not Oplot tank (T-84), it looks like one of the tanks from ExcaliburArmy from Czech Republic...T-72EA, mainly judging by the layout of the ERA armor bricks. Its old machine, but gets some work done and its what we could provide in higher nubers. (90 of them were delivered if iam not mistaken).
