I want to add a comment regarding counter-strafing. Unlike CSGO, you DO NOT need to click the opposite key you're moving in to stop your momentum. In Valorant, it makes no difference whether you do or not, so why complicate it? Left, short-burst of shots, right, short burst of shots, repeat... (:
@earlvoneinzbern91212 жыл бұрын
Ive been playing Valorant in CSGO gameplay omg! This is new!
@NA-xp2cr2 жыл бұрын
OMG REALLY?
@bluebaum2.7.162 жыл бұрын
It's about a one frame difference, it takes 7 frames to stop when counter strafing and 8 when you don't, I'd still learn it though.
@KimonoEtrange2 жыл бұрын
That's not true at all. One frame longer when you don't counter strafe. Bunch of analysis on KZbin demonstrates it
@YY-mk4ti2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the benefit is so minuscule it's basically just useful in the highest level. Definitely would recommend not complicating stuffs to new players that didn't came from CS:GO.

Thanks so much for this video. Im so used to shooting while standing still, and always find myself getting killed before being able to react. Gotta practice more, I guess.

I think you should set a more realistic goal. If you try to grind, you will tilt and mess up your mentality. This will lead to losing streaks and it's like a cycle. Unless you're actually really good at val, you can hit plat. But try to reach high silver or gold in a month. Bronze and gold are the hardest ranks to get out of (based on experience).

That breach trick on The Range is so much easier than using Brim ult then switching agent. Thanks a lot!! The only thing I don't agree with is aiming for high score in Medium and Hard bot, I think it will just give you bad habits of over flicking just to get good score. I think starting slow is the better way because speed will always come after you get used to something so start on easy bots and don't be hard on yourself.

You forgot to add that when strafe peeking, you need a run-up distance to get the fastest peek which will definitely make a sound but it doesn't matter if you know where the enemy is and you plan on fighting anyway. There are times for shift walking, especially in higher elo when you are in lurking positions. Catches a lot of people off guard, you combine this with the ability to take a step silently and peaking. holding shift let go take 1 step as your peak and then hold shift again making 0 noise but taking a step. doing this you can take A LOt of peaks without the enemy being able to hit you. And if you are a higher elo player you should be able to hit those .5-1 second frame shots so this is helpful.
