"Mimics" - what an interesting phenomenon! Explains something I experienced too. Years ago, I awoke from deep sleep hearing my dad calling my name - but he lived 400 miles away. I got up & went into the living room looking for him, wondering why he was visiting unannounced at 4am? He was nowhere in sight; not outside, no car, nothing - all quiet. Figured I must've dreamt it - even though I clearly heard his voice echo through the house. On my way back to bed, I flipped the backdoor light on to check the yard & heard loud footsteps running down the back steps. And caught a glimpse of a guy running from my yard & up the street. Whatever it was that woke me up (a mimic?) seemed to be warning me of danger. I was recovering from a serious illness & it would've been very easy for an intruder to break in, unnoticed, & do harm. I called my dad shortly after & he told me it might be a good idea to cut back on the medications, lol. I took his advice but this weird experience always stuck with me. Now I understand what likely happened.👍

The only reason for me to give something like this any credence is that it's similar in nature to what people would normally call doppelgängers. Which my sister and I have personally experienced with our mother not too long before she passed away many years ago. This stuff on the other hand now always comes down to skinwalkers or whatever is the current paranormal trend.

Ben, we lived in a house that was built in 1917 and there was a mimac in there... My son in law called downstairs to his daughter to get her little brothers clothes out of the dryer.. Not knowing she already left the house to go to school..There was an answer back in his daughter's voice saying "whattttt" ... in her usual tone when she is annoyed...my daughter heard it and so did I...it was so creepy

Awesome compilation! I went & subscribed & did the thing. I must comment on the “It Follows” segment. The symptoms he is sharing with his friend: inability to feel rested despite hours of sleep, nausea for no reason, & also mentioning he woke with an unexplained bruise on his leg: all that are signs of demonic presence leading to oppression with the end goal usually being possession. As for the entity captured on camera ~ I rest my case. I sure hope he found professional spiritual help. Also, the mimic phenomenon has become increasingly common since 2019. I myself heard something mimic my daughter’s voice saying “hey mom;” just last week! It’s IMPORTANT to never respond or acknowledge that you’ve heard it because that is seen by the mimic as permission to further interact with you. PS: I loved Alien Week!

Sometimes when I'm dozing off to sleep and can clearly hear a female voice whisper my name right in my ear. Doesn't sound like my wife but it does feel familiar because they're calling me by my nick name that only family and close friends call me. Once I was washing clothes in the basement of my building. It was after midnight and I was alone. While i sat waiting for my clothes I started dozing off, so I took off my glasses and placed them on a nearby bookshelf. Another tenant from the building came in and walked over to the bookshelf, I thought nothing of it. Didn't see who it was because I was half asleep. They left and a few minutes later that same voice whispered "they took your glasses, get up."...And they did, my glasses were gone.
