Hi Bolo Buddies! I'm late catching this video but so thankful for it!!! Love all your researching tips in this one. When you were searching on Mercari and showing us the solds where people were selling Beanie Boos in large lots for a few hundred dollars, I'm thinking that must be because either 1) none of them are worth much on their own, or 2) maybe there could be some that are more valuable in those lots, but the seller just doesn't want to be bothered to do all the research themselves (or doesn't care) and just wants to get rid of them - ? What do you think? Thanks again!!!

My best friend passed away last year of sudden onset cancer and guess what I inherited? Every. Single. Beanie. Boo ever made in mint condition as well as EVERY beanie buddy AND beanie baby. She was a compulsive avid collector and got every single one since the inception of Beanie Babies. We unmercifully made fun of her, in good fun, and she passed them on to me before she died as a joke. I have LITERALLY 36 HUGE totes of mint condition beanies, buddies and boos EVER made by TY. "Mary if you are up there listening, I'm sorry but not sorry I made fun of you because I'm about to make BANK!" Hahahaha Man, I miss her so much.

Holy crap! I saw the horse beanie that sold for $230 and had to go check my daughter's collection. And yep that one went to the Salvos in our last toy cull. Oops. Edit: on that note we got that toy from an op shop for $2 AUS originally so I shouldn't complain 🤣

I think the difference in the value of the ghost beanie boos had nothing to do with their ties and everything to do with their size. I think one was a Beanie Boo and the other was the key chain sized version.

I see what it is now! I was so confused at first. The seller was selling BOTH on that listing (the one at 2:02) . So Phantom is the larger ghost with the candy corn bow, and Ghosty is the smaller ghost with the key clip. They sold as a SET for $74.95. Thank you for posting, you made me stop to look harder! :-)

I live in the U.K. there is a brown mix rabbit called woody beanie boo. I think it was released late for Easter in Tesco (supermarket chain in UK) and reduced on the Monday for 75p etc. I think I brought 6 and have 3/4 like new and tagged. On Amazon, they had a crazy 3 figures price. Tags are similar to ones for the beanie babies in the 90s/00s

Just verifying that I'm seeing this correctly...lol...the Ghost Beanie Boos listing starting at minute 2:04 was for two Beanie Boos that sold (a lot of 2). The Phantom 6 inch one has candy corn bow and another different Beanie Boo, the Ghosty clip one has an orange bow and is smaller. So that sale for $74 whatever was for 2 Ghost Beanie Boos being sold together in one listing. Later on, just the Ghosty clip Beanie Boo sold for about $18/19 on its own. Right?
