They need to make the fighters get low when throwing body punches insteadof remaining in that upright position. That way, you can get your head off the center line as well.

I feel you, but not all boxers squat when going to the body, especially if you're taller. Some just shoot it to the body from a specific range. But I understand where you're coming from.

I quit playing before the dot 7 update. These updates look really nice. The hip torque animation when you throw punches makes a huge difference in the aesthetics. Punches finally look crisp and impactful. Hopefully the slip mechanics are more crisp as well. Combos look fluid as well! Maybe it’s time to dive back in to see if it is really better.

I said months ago that the slow motion punching to prevent spamming looked horrible and a better idea would be to make the punches less accurate with a bigger counter window (recovery frames). It took them a year to figure this out? Seriously? smdh

I like the game but when you're fighting and you finally get that knockdown i feel the animation is underwhelming. I remember them showing ragdoll knockouts ages ago and I hope its still a priority they're going to add.

The punches and the distance management with the counters look beautiful and the small things like when Shawn Porter was getting his head pinged like a pinball machine he would shake his head and look visually frustrated. But when throwing combos it looks wild and I still don’t like that you can’t move while moving ur head

yeah bro as soon as i heard this soft ass new age hot garbage soundtrack i was turned off lol. i really hope they add some more old school hip hop. to me it resonates more with boxing of all generations. Everything they addressed tells me that they really are trying hard to improve the gameplay and the aesthetics, which sells games in general. Im glad they are really listening to the community. Now i can post things that i would love for them to improve in the presentation department lol. It will be short and to the point. Overall very satisfied and back to really backing this game again.

I shared my feedback on Steam as well as Discord. Sharing them here as well for your input. I really hope the geniuses in SCI figure out that the Left and Right Trigger buttons actually have Full Pull and Soft Pull inputs. They could innovate their control method as such: Right Trigger: - currently used for Block - Better would be Soft Pull is assigned for mobile standard block; while Full Pull would be assigned to the advanced stationary guards Left Trigger: - currently used for Weave - Better would be Soft Pull is assigned for Weave (yes, the same); while Full Pull would be assigned to Slip - YES, remove Slip from L3. Possible New L3 function: - Taunt (then direction for variance, like most 3PS and MMO games) Possible New Left D-Pad function: - Unique Stance switch (e.g. Traditional Boxing stance to Philly Shell) Bring back previous input method of Feint, which was to Block cancel a punch. Left D-pad is clunky; so terrible. Right Analog = Remove Total Punch Control please. It is redundant. Please reassign this to something more useful and unique to your fighter (e.g. parry, sidestep-pivot, anti-weave punch, anti-sidestep punch). You get my drift? Since we are transferring the command for advanced stationary guards, L2 + R2 now becomes... CLINCH. That's right. Remove Clinch from R3. This totally makes sense. You are blocking (L2) and you are swaying (R2). Both defensive moves to go into clinch. You NEED to keep holding these buttons down to keep in the clinch. The more you stay in clinch, the more likely the ref is going to step in and issue a penalty. Now, while in the clinch, you can make some offensive moves by pressing any of the punch buttons. Not so hard to do, right? Simple R3 will be used for Push (yeah, no more need to press RB). Yes, this is still the correct input for Breaking the Clinch (because you have to push). You can also press Foul while in the Clinch to throw some elbows; Body Modifier Foul to throw some nut shots; Power Punch Foul to bite your opponent's ear off. This would be cool.

Please have Mike Tyson as a DLC if Tyson wouldn't have turned his back on his people and went to Don King his career would have ended much differently and Buster Douglas would have never beaten him and he never would have bit Holyfield's ear it's a damn shame how it ended for Mike. Roy Jones Jr was my other favorite boxer I'll be ordering early.

Only thing they need to have changed is knocked down quality, fall quicker, dazed and out on the ropes when ref stops the fight, knock through the ropes, and get more commentary, and robes for fighters.

Knockdowns need to be tweaked. The knockdowns are too slow and canned. They need to make it similar to UFC5. Improving and speeding up the knockdowns would make the KO's look WAY better.
