When you were on top of the silo and panned over to the deer. I thought you were going to say that the best upgrade was the raised shooting platform on top of the tank.

This is a very classy operation. Good people doing great work. Having made a few small batched of maple syrup, it is humbling to see what these folks do. Best wishes going forward.
I fell in love with the Sugar House at first sight. The building resonates with me for reasons that I don't know the words to speak. The Timber Framing is a part of it. The Overall design is so well thought out and executed.

3 questions. Is permeate the waste product from the RO process? Why is the permeate required to be stored? How is the permeate disposed of?
@MapleFarmer7 ай бұрын
The ro separates the sap into 2 products. Permeate & concentrate. Permeate is clean water that’s been filtered! We store it and reuse the water to clean all our equipment because it’s the cleanest/ most pure water we can get!

A numer of videos back, your sister mentioned that your dad bought a railroad. What did she mean?
@MapleFarmer7 ай бұрын
We bought the land where an old railroad track used to be. The track is no longer there but we still refer to it as the A&A because it was called the Arcade & Attica railroad

Is the sap done flowing or will this cold weather restart the flow?

Doesn't all the silo pipes freeze at night or are they always drained before that can happen?

They are drained. Also We boil every night when the sap runs so it’s never sitting overnight during freezes.
