You have a lot of inventory. Biggest thing is to be honest with yourself. Log you buys. Log miles driven aka fuel spent. Log your ship costs: package, postage. Log the fees to the site. Then you have profits. Not hard to do with phones nowadays or debit bank statements.

That's because it has to have high demand to sell. Ebay tells us what's in demand and what isn't. If there's thousands listed and it has a high % sell through rate it's a great find. Low sell through items are probably going to sit there for six months or a year or two or never sell.

My top sale for vhs is $175. I paid $35 for the tape. I was nervous about it working but knew i needed to take a chance. It sold in a little over a week which was nice. I have a expensive Gamecube game I need to list soon also. I just started doing KZbin videos myself. The hunt is exciting for sure. Vhs is something i know very well. I have bought the entire contents of 2 movie stores inventory. I have over 3,000 vhs and around the same amount of DVDs I need to get listed. I have hundreds of each already listed. The large majority though are $2. Good video.

Found a nice lot of Sealed WWF VHS at a yard sale a few months back. All extremely early, dating back to the first wrestlemania. Wound up listing two and caught a rabid collector almost immediately. Despite getting no other offers or messages during the few hours of negotiations. I wound up selling two of the 8 tapes I bought for 700 dollars. Probably a once in a blue moon find, but keep your eyes open for super early wrestling stuff.

Scanning the UPC isn't accurate for finding sold comps in my experience, because a lot of listings don't have the UPC in their description. For example, just type in 'Rambo VHS Trilogy' and there are tons sold of that same box set.

I have such a difficult time with 90’s fads. They were ridiculous when I was raising my children, and they aren’t any better now, imho. I’m not even sure I know what was popular in the 90’s. I would have thought that vhs was worthy of the trash can, not $100. And that is why I watch your videos-I obviously need schooling!

This just proves that people will waste their money online on pretty much anything. I've owned several vhs players and cassette players. They were and still are garbage. Always tearing up, tapes being ate in the players, breaking off the spool after fast forwarding and rewinding. Any CD or movie I buy I watch or listen to because I enjoy it, not because I want to just look at it sealed and brag about having it.
