We interviewed two volunteers, Dasha and Sofia, who evacuate Ukrainians from temporarily occupied territories. We discussed the skills that volunteering has unlocked in them, what supports them in stressful situations, and what the phrase "territories are people" means to them.
Helping to Leave is a 24/7 helpline for Ukrainians affected by russia’s military invasion. Every €100 helps evacuate one person from active military combat zones.
