I just finished putting seat covers on my 2003 Mercury mountaineer. I followed the video, it was easy to follow, The job turned out really good. I'm very happy. Thank you guys for making the video.

The fact that you guys were able to even remove the driver seat from the vehicle is an achievement all in itself. The wiring harness goes throw a cross member at the bottom of the seat, and renders removing the plugs nearly impossible. Without damaging your wiring harness and connections I recommend following the guide once you have removed the 4 bolts that hold the seat into position.

You guys made my day, you made that look easy although I have a feeling it's not lol, but I need to do this for my 2002 ford explorer driver's side in leather since I can't afford to pay anyone you guys made it possible for me to do it. Hey Thanks! I bought the bottom drivers seat cover (original) on Ebay for about $110 USD. Finally I had found a shop that agreed to install it for $175USD. Then I thought of checking youtube maybe I could do it. One thing was worried about was that my seat dosent move forward or back making it kind of hard to remove the back (closest to the door) seat bolt. So I gave it a try and really it wasn't so bad at all! It took me 2.5 hours done plus under the seat and side of the arm rest got a good cleaning. Do it yourself and save some cash.

Perfect instruction! Replaced driver seat leather on my 2004 Expedition and it was so easy we ordered one for my wife's 2004 explorer. It was a tad different so I was praying you had a vid for hers. Much thanks!!!

This video was somewhat helpful to me during my 03 sport trac seat bottom install. I only wish I knew just how much different a standard seat is from an Eddie Bauer. I was already in too deep by the time I realized how much more difficulty there is in a Non- Eddie Bauer. I was successful in the end but would not want to have to do it again. That said, thank you for a insightful guide to changing out a seat bottom. A lot of tips and methods I couldn't have anticipated .

Have to say this was one of the best instructional videos I have seen. I feel down right empowered to fix the ugly ass seats in my "new" 2001 Explorer. Assuming this buzz doesn't wear off I will be calling for some seat covers. Thanks, great job .

The detail....obviously, you guys have done a few explorer seats. Other makes I am sure, but no matter, my focus is the Ford Explorer seat. I have the same. This video helped me see the detail of removing the seat covers to install heated pads for my seats. This one mental obstacle is now not a problem. I appreciate when a video really helps, and this one does. Thank you, and never to forget KZbin. Life without KZbin...not. KZbin for President !! and "TheSeatGuys" deserve the credit. C U later.

Awesome demo! Great clear explanations and shots of the parts and clips you will run into. I liked that this was a real-time demo without jump-cuts, because seeing where it was a bit challenging for you gave me a good understanding of what I will probably run into. Makes me feel much more confident about replacing my seat cover myself. Probably will take me longer than 16 minutes though! Thanks a lot!

I came here to see how to remove the front seat, but you have a great kit here. My seats are getting a little worn so I'll keep this in mind when the time comes. I have a 1999 explorer and there appears to be a seatbelt rail attached to the "hump" with a Torx #40 or so screw. Does that need to be removed or will the seat slide forward and off of that rail? Thanks for posting and your hard work.

Unfortunately we do not carry covers for BMW. Currently the covers that we manufacture are for Ford Chevrolet GMC Lincoln in Cadillac for their truck and SUV lines.

Is there a way to get the side panel clip (the one towards the front) back in without removing the seat? Mine came out and it keeps popping off the lumbar and recline knobs. Thanks!

It would have to be a complete custom application. I would check with a company called littleseats. com. They probably have a seat application that would work.
