This guy has the best trading knowledge available for free on KZbin. Most the other guys trade strategies that are basically gambling with a stop loss order, and they either only have basic knowledge of trading, or you have to buy a membership to get an explanation of the technical details of the trading strategy. This guy is sharing advanced knowledge for free! I go back and watch each video a few times because I know I'm not retaining enough from each video just watching once or twice. May go back and watch taking notes next time... I just want to make sure I absorb what knowledge I can before he starts charging for it when he gets several million subscribers.

One important thing that you probably forgot to add is that..... When the pivot range is narrow, you can expect a good trending market on that day.... and if wider, there is a good chance that the market would be sideways or range bound (some exceptions though... not a financial advice) Trade Safe.... Grest indicator that I have started using recently 👍

HydGeek that's a very good observation. That's how I understood it myself when I first started using the CPR. Thinner range means the markets would not have a problem breaching it and then cross over. Very good and practical interpretation. Ima little confused, at what point in the day would you calculate the pivot range is this based on daily time chart only?. i.e i calculated yesterdays pivot range today given that we have the daily high, low and close. But when would i calculate this for current day to help execute a trade?

Great video. I've been using Pivot Points with some success and this could add to it. I'm doing back tests today. I did have one question. You mentioned at 5:40 you said that if the price closed above the same days Pivot Range, that it's bullish. How do I factor that in the next day when I should be looking at the previous days close and the same days new Pivot Range. Thanks for any tips.

The day is closed and thus one could calculate for that day and as per the range values - it gives bullish or bearish bias. But how do you get pivot range for the next day so as to consider its support or resistance levels. For e.g. citing the example of yours H 100, L 90 and C 98, Pivot range = 95-97. How do you use it for next day?

Well, I use pivots as the main tool on my charts, I believe the opposite: PP are probably the best tools for day trading :).

My question was on day trading or scalping. What exactly would be the entry trigger for the next day to place a buy or sell order after previous day's CPR gave you a bias for today? You say something like "when price finds support or resistance". Could you be more concrete? It could be the first M1 candle touching today's CPR, it could be waiting for M15 close there. That could mean a big difference...

Great vdo.👌👌👌 Is this similar to Central Pivot range? If so, 20-25 mins after market opens, I think it's wise to go Long if price closes above R1 and to go short if price closes below S1. It's actually contradictory to the Golden rule of trading i.e Buy support and Sell Resistance.🤔🤔🤔

If half or more than half the candle is protruding towards the central Pivot, it's best to avoid trading that stock right? I bought a stock when the 1st 15 mins candle(Green) closed above R1 but half the candle was hanging downwards towards the central Pivot and now I am staring at a loss😣😣😣😣
