You just had to keep pushing and pushing and pushing, till you push people over the edge, Chris Boutté.
Like I've said before, I didn't want another video like this on my channel... So I doubt I'll leave it up for long... But, I feel it's important to let people know what's going on behind the scenes with this man. Chris Boutté is not only a danger to the mental health community... Now he's pushing people in the recovery community to their limits... And that could be very dangerous. Chris, given his background, should know better than this, and he does. He just doesn't care.
(Thank goodness I was strong enough in my recovery to deal with all this drama he brought to my channel...) But what if someone isn't strong enough? Chris keeps digging open old wounds in the fucked up hope that it's going to cause a scandal and get him more views.
I can't wait for the day when Chris Boutté and all his b.s. are gone from KZbin.
(And since I know you read every negative thing about you, let me ask you this... The 25,000+ subs that you lost... Are we all the bad guys here? Especially with these 2 videos. He can do a lot of damage. Not just directly to addicts - also indirectly by misinforming someone that might love an addict. This could cause unnecessary conflict or tension, and the ultimate risk is dying from an overdose.

I'm glad you did this video! It's so hard to watch someone give suggestions to others in recovery who clearly isn't working a recovery program themselves. A person who was actually actively working a recovery program wouldn't be so set on doing harm to others. He literally pretends he wants to help people just so he can cause them serious harm. Seeing the way he is spreading misinformation is actually horrifying. I truly hope we can reach those who are still following him as it breaks my heart to know he is playing with their lives just to make a quick buck. I tried to hard to be fair to him and to really help him after all the drama. He's made it clear though that he doesn't want anyone in recovery to be able to comment on his channel so he can paint himself to be an all knowing God like figure. Again this is NOT recovery this is dangerous behavior.

I agree completely, Jexi. And I tried for a long time to defend him, as most of my subscribers know by now. But after his drama exploded, I began seeing him more clearly. It took me awhile... Lol. But now he's truly become a danger to this community. First and foremost, the way he's been speaking about Suboxone, and the way his audience has been responding... Very scary... Second, the way he's now PERSONALLY bashing other people's recovery journeys. (And the judgement he exudes is THICK.) Third, the "hit and run" blocking spree he's been on; blocking people, and then choosing to talk about them. (Classic Chris) And forth, the way he speaks of the 12 steps.... Very flippantly, with a "school boy" lack of respect. (If he's working the steps, like he claims, he's not living them) I'll defend this community, and anyone's path to recovery, with everything in me. Chris needs to stay in his lane. Period. I’m sorry you have had such a time with something like this when you truly have done so much work on your self as I have watched you from the beginning. I do somewhat agree, that methadone and Suboxone should be utilized as a almost “go-between“ to lessen the severity of with drawls from coming off of extremely potent opiates. I have a few friends that did actually use it for 30 days and some less just to wean down that process and make it more comfortable for them, but I also have other Friends that have been on it for years and live extremely productive and beautiful lives. I think it is definitely an individual decision and it should be spoken with your doctor and not on KZbin. He’s a dangerous person because some people are taking his word as gospel because of the way he touts himself as a former rehab center employee & how he worked with “thousands of addicts”. I don’t care how many addicts that he has worked with, recovery is a personalized journey & not a one size fits all approach. These Four Walls yes you’re absolutely right everyone’s journey is a bit different and I know I tried suboxone short term many many times only to relapse.... it wasn’t until I was on it for a period of years that I was able to get my footing and get some recovery under my belt some people need more time to let their brain heal and rebuild their lives some don’t either way is fine with me as long as they aren’t going back out there...I pray to God one day he is forced to reflect on his behavior...he so badly wants to believe that people don’t like him because of a bunch of lies made up by drama channels...he refuses to see that it is an accumulation of his actions and behavior that people have witnessed with their own eyes and experienced first hand....sometimes when hundreds or thousands of people don’t like you it’s simply because you are being a jerk which is the case with him...but who knows if he will ever see it...

I was happy that your story got to be shared with a lot of people because you have a great story, but I felt like he was sharing it for the wrong reasons. I always thought that he was doing it to deflect some of the hate that he was receiving. He wanted to show people that he was a good person because he was using his platform for good, but everyone saw it as a sad attempt to take the eyes off of his drama. Because I automatically felt like he was using it to try and "show he cared"... And it sure didn't feel very caring. Mat saved my life, and the life of my unborn baby. We both may have died without the life saving medication that the top obgyn specialists in my state had me take through my entire pregnancy. Thank you for your comment, and kindness. I'm doing well, but still trying to figure out what's wrong. They think there's two separate issues - Lupus and something wrong with my femoral artery. I go to see an rheumatologist on Wednesday, and a vascular doctor next week. So, hopefully all will turn out ok, and they get me set up with a plan, moving forward.

I’m only 2 mins into this video and KZbin needs to cancel this guys fucking ass.. I had stayed subscribed to him until about a month ago- I gave up, he wasn’t changing.. I couldn’t keep taking in the information he was sharing. I just couldn’t.. I didn’t know his mother wasn’t even licensed.. that’s pretty sick. And he’s been playing off that lie for a long time too. Dude just doesn’t look healthy either. He has the biggest under eye blackness going on I’ve ever seen.. it doesn’t look like his health is inclining whatsoever. I don’t know. Even talking about him the way you are is giving him exposure he doesn’t deserve. They say any exposure is good exposure, and that guy needs to be the hell out of any sort of exposing whatsoever. And the only reason I felt I had to speak out over this particular topic is because people who are on Suboxone need to realize Chris's opinions on how long it should be taken mean nothing. People are talking about getting off their meds because of him, and it is so dangerous to make statements to a large audience - many of them recovering addicts. But I agree, he wants the exposure. He wants videos like this one. And I HATE that he's getting what he wants, but I just feel it's more important to possibly reach that one person who's now doubting themselves, or their recovery, because of Chris Boutté.
