ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on KZbin and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!

I have great respect for Lizzie. Past due date and still out there working. For me the last few weeks of pregnancy are so hard just doing normal things. I can't imagine doing all the work she does on the farm and keeping up with the little ones and doing household upkeep!

Not to mention in the heat. My daughter was born mid June and my son May 30th and I was miserable by the time they came being preggo in the summer is for the birds. Lizzie makes everything she does look like a walk in the park. She is such a strong woman❤

A beautiful girlie. Such a strong name too. Bonnie Wilson. Fantastic Lizzie. Congrats to the whole family!!... CAMMY ... wear a fanny pack (waist bag) for small things like syringes etc. You are a human DAD but also a Sheep DAD so you can't always be perfect and have all things at the ready whilst in the fields. Batteries die, things get broken or lost, flat tires happen, injured dogs, etc. You are doing many chores Cammy and doing wonderful at all. Please wear good sun cream as you are outdoors a lot. God bless Lizzie, Bonnie and Cam! Birthing a 10lb, 12oz baby is no mean feat! I’m in awe, Lizzie. 💜💜. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I had a terrible time with each of my now adult sons- narrow Android pelvis, 18 inches of hip space width across, twins first, then a huge 9lb baby, then a NICU premie, where I was on semi bed rest with two preschoolers. I’m only 5’5” tall, so it was a tough pregnancy each time. I had pre eclampsia the first time, fevers at 102 F and hospitalized four months in a row. Each of my labors in hospital were 45 hrs(didn’t know there was a twin who had died until the next day), 24 hours with with Moose Baby, who dislocated my tail bone, one of my hips, and his own arms and hips coming out to the world. Then, Mr. Premie, who was an extremely dangerous pregnancy- if the nurse hadn’t spotted signs of me bleeding to death, it’s likely I wouldn’t be here today. I woke up two days later not knowing what happened. Mr. Premie and myself spent a week in hospital.

I think you need to check the SDS (MSDS) for hydrated lime before spreading it around small children. It’s extremely alkaline and will cause damage if you get it in your eyes and can also cause respiratory damage.
