Cammy & fellow viewers, I just clicked on the "Send Feedback" button on the left of the screen at the very bottom. Sandi doesn't shy away from showing her frustrations & heartache when her daughter had cancer, when a ewe has preg tox or a preemie lamb she's worked very hard on crashes & dies. I don’t know what KZbin wants, but I know that I love your channel and you present farming and especially sheep farming in an honest and transparent way . In this day and age transparency in any aspect of life or death is shy away from. I think we’re supposed to all be happy clappy, and smiley and dancing but in truth, life is not a bed of roses -there are plenty of weeds - and it’s good for children and adults to know what different people do and how difficult it is. The hardest jobs are the least well paid, and the people who do those jobs are the people who support, the majority of citizens of any country. In the United States, the most difficult jobs are not well paid, but we could not do without those people service people healthcare people people who help other people travel through their lives, construction and road people, the folks who climb up the utility poles and get our power back on when it goes out and fix our waterlines when they break, these things are very majority of human beings. You are one of those people who supply us with well I’m not sure really. What happens to your sheep in the end? Do you sell them and do people eat it?🎉 party on Cammy.🎉😢

Another busy day lambing. You have to step in quick if a ewe is in trouble and today you saved most. Having to move the triplets because of Mr Fox was an added job you didn't need but that went smoothly. Moving a lot of your pens to the hospital field looked great. The rain had stopped and the white lambs running on the green grass was beautiful to see. Get some sleep and tomorrow will be dealt with then. Best of luck to all the farmers during this horrid weather while lambing.

This kind of affirmation-based/ "good vibes only" approach to language isn't always descriptive and is almost never honest, though. A challenge is balancing the budget to make enough room to get some higher quality stock in, for example. Or implementing a new nutrition plan to increase your growth rates. If lambs keep dying, it's a net negative that needs solving and it takes a toll on your psyche. If a company like youtube is holding a portion of your business hostage until you make it advertiser-friendly, that's not a "challenge," that's someone choosing to harm you and your business. Let people be upset and unhappy when upsetting things happen! I'd rather see Cammy's real emotions than see him try to bottle it up and force a smile for the sake of "positive energy." Lambing is absolutely brutal and trying to pretend otherwise just seems ghoulish to me.

Women can do all lambing tasks.

I’m a competitive obedience dog trainer; in our beginner pet obedience classes, one thing I tell students is that you are giving your dog a command, not a suggestion🤣. It’s not in the volume, but more the tone. It may sound harsh to your ears, but remember, you are trying to send your voice across that field, in all that wind, to direct the dog - so it sounds harsh to your ears, but not to the dog.

Cammy, I've been following for years. My heart goes out to you so much this year 😢 you have my greatest respect. Don't ever lose your smile or spirit. You have the best lambing squad and family and your children are the sweetest ever. I have 2 greyhounds, ex racers and now my Rosie has arthritis at nearly 12. She just loves racing around and limps after going too fast. Metacam and Physiotherapie has helped her. If it gets worse we will be trying out Librela. Everytime I watch, I wish I could come and help. Sandi has also had a tough time losing lambs this year. Praying every day for you and your family and that things perk up for you ❤❤❤🙏

One thing I’ve heard folks say on other channels is “un-alive” in the place of “dead” or “death.” Silly, really but it makes the algorithm happy.

I don’t know anything about sheep farming, so watching this was very eye opening. I learned so much and very much appreciate you taking the time to film your day. Wishing you easier days ahead!

Onya, Cammy! It's a hell of an arduous time, lambing, and every little helps; even if it is the silent watching of the audience you bring along (and we're very thankful you do). Much love from the land down under!

I completely relate to staying up late because you know the sooner you fall asleep, the sooner the next morning comes. Even though you tell yourself that being tired will only compound the horrible day! Much love and support to you. It's been nice seeing Marissa take over a bit. I hope you'll have her comfortable soon so you can have your hernia surgery!

I am learning so much from you about farming life, the conditions you work in, and all of the problems you face on a daily basis. The strength and commitment you and Lizzy have is amazing, keep smiling, keep laughing, better days are ahead.

Cami, it’s hard to stay positive when all you are focused upon is the problems. When you’ve done all you can do to o prevent issues you have to leave the rest to god. I love that you have the ability to scan and then separate your flock into the different fields so you know what you’re looking for on the ground. One day when things are a little more manageable you might want to do a video on what you do to prepare for lambing then once lambing is over how you rearrange the supplies for next season. Just a thought. Thank you for sharing this day in your life’s journey. God bless.
