I know I'm really late but I don't understand why people are comparing R5 to One Direction. They're both different bands with unique talent! R5 is a fan of One Direction and there's no hate between them! Sure; One Direction weren't playing music at a really young age and only got fame from the X Factor but think about it. If they weren't talented, would they even be at the judges house? Personally, I'm both a directioner and a R5er and I love it. I love both of their music and find them both so talented. But why is everyone hating on One Direction? One Direction is an amazing band that actually don't lip sync. Their acoustic versions show they have real talent and aren't about their accents or their looks. They truly care about their fans and are pretty funny guys. They aren't a stuck up band as people think they are but they actually are so silly and childish in a good way! R5 is no doubt amazing as well. R5 is awesome and bond so well with each other despite the fact that they are related (except Ellington). I think both bands should be appreciated and honestly who cares about which band is better? I don't want to sound rude but true fans care about their music and the actual band rather than their fame and comparison to other bands.
