As you spoke about tying intuition to our bodies, I couldn't help but hear the Divinyls' song "I Touch Myself" in my head. It's a good point about feeling our bodies; I just couldn't help it. LOL (I tend to tie a lot of things to music, including the tarot.... I have a tarot playlist.)

When I do my morning daily draw I ask the cards, "What do I need to know today?" Really open ended question. After I'm done shuffling I put my hand over the stack and kind of "will" the question into the deck. Like feeling my energy moving through me into the cards. Weird but it works for me! 😆

I simply don't resonate with Tarot AT ALL. But I have 15 decks of various oracle cards and I NEVER learnt he card meanings and NEVER read the book, I do readings from what I pick up from each card.

I Have a question how do you know if its your “intuition or just ego”..... Example i did a 3 card spread for a client who asked “What happened to my income tax refund?” Right away the first though that came to my mind was,” Someone stole it” but i did not tell him that, so would that be my intuition or ego? its obvious I think to anyone with that question asked one would think the same thing that “Someone stole it?” So i shuffled the cards ask the question the client asked me i normally use spread positions but when i pulled the cards,what came was 7 of SWORDS, HIGH PRIESTESS and THE 10 Of WANDS..”FOR ME”.. i did not need a positional spread because this spread i was able to read with out it being in positions.What i got from this spread was that “someone did take his refund” as he told me that he was married. She kept it a secret from him-HIGH PRIESTESS, she did take it-7 of SWORDS I got the feeling that she felt bad because the 7 of SWORDS was looking at the HIGH PRIESTESS, AND the 10 of WANDS she was burdened by her stealing it..and what verified to me that she “felt bad for taking it” was that the 7 of SWORDS looking towards the HIGH PRIESTESS AND THE 10 OF WANDS... her being burdened by it so my question is would my thought of “Someone stole your money” before i even shuffled the cards and asked the question be my ego or my intuition? Could you see my interpretation in this reading? Ive been reading tarot since 2016 and still feel like a beginner because “if my readings dont mimic another readers, tarot reading mine must be wrong I’m self taught ive never taken a tarot class. I really would love your input☺️ the deck i used was the HANSONS ROBERT TAROT.

Trusting your intuition (and knowing the difference between real intuition and ego or conditioning or unconscious patterns) is SO hard! Doing your own shadow work and connecting to your body will help you interpret the "feelings" in your body between an intuitive reaction and reactive response based on YOUR beliefs, fears, desires, etc.

Trying to memorize all the meanings and keywords isn’t helpful because it’s like you’re trying to cram a bunch of words into your brain. It’s more helpful to learn the card meanings and interpretations slowly and in different contexts, so that you build up your own interpretation and idea of the cards, and can read more fluidly with them
