You really have to stay in the Starter home and stick to the basics until you have enough money and than move out...and making music gives you also money...and a lil cheat would be the money tree otherwise you wouldn't be able to do it

Maybe you don't have a lot of money, any way! You should start watching get famous builds or you can renovate a mansion and maybe lower the price or download from gallery which one you like or price is suitable for you and your sim.

Since the trees are going to give Lady way too much money, you could have her regularly donate a bunch of money to charity. Or buy very expensive items and then donate them. Her positive reputation would reach the top of the scale and you could control her money that way.

I find the money tree very realistic. Normally, celebrities get monthly/yearly salaries from royalties on movies or works they'd done in the past. So, they're earning money all the time, even if they're not working. Also, they do sponsorships, advertising and appearances (like literally, they get paid to show up in an event. ) the money tree represents all that.

If you want to renovate without moving you can always enlarge and connect the trailers together. Perhaps even knock out a wall or two for spacing. Will smith did it in Hancock and his trailer was fairly roomy. Besides "real" modern Hollywood trailers are able to unfold into much larger structures. They're only small while mobile, but when stopped, they become twice ad wide and nearly twice as long. Since Lady is a global star, there's no need to keep the "Trailer Park" style trailers. Upgrade her to some Modern "Will Smith style" trailers that take up three NYC blocks. I mean those things cost Millions of dollars. They must since he even has his own mobile basketball court in one section. His trailer is Monstrous. It's like it's own Circus caravan.

My sim's wife brought in the money with her comedy career. My actor indeed didn't bring in nearly enough. What was interesting, the lady also got famous being a comedian. Didn't expect that. She died of laughter 1 day before becoming an elder. Practicing her acts. Yeah, very sad. And ridiculous. :)))

A love triangle - square- rectangle - I don't know, something's going on there. lol As the plot thickens. Why don't you hire a butler or nanny? That way the kids will be looked after. Also, put a picnic table and grill outside, so they can sit together sometimes to eat. Orange, Blueberry and Brussels need to become friends. Then, at the next age up, a birthday party with Orange, Octavia, Holly and Thorne as guests. Heat sizzles between Thorne and Holly. Octavia, fed up with Thorne's ways and knows that Holly is a B-Lister, takes Holly under her wing to help Holly become a superstar. While doing so, she falls for Holly herself. Holly, the pawn of pawns. Who will Holly choose? Will Thorne grow his hair back? Will Octavia sell a story to the tabloids? Will Lady become a paparazzi sweetheart?

Okay. So here’s what you should do. Thorne should go after Holly to get back at Lady, but Holly isn’t into it. Then, Holly meets Octavia, and they fall in love. Then Holly and Octavia elope, leaving Lady and Thorne alone and having no one but each other. Just a thought.

Regarding the foundation thing; yes, they should definitely have some sort of notification IN-GAME or CLIENT for the players. They can't just expect their consumer to watch their stream in order to be notified by it, I'm pretty sure most people wont even check Twitter for this. You'd think that after publishing AND developing games after all these years, EA and Maxis would think of this. I was so furious when I noticed I couldn't move the foundation when I revisit the game. After a simple Google search, a good samaritan told us, the confused hooligans, that the foundation switch is built into the plan itself rather than the catalog. Outrageous. Also, you uploaded just in time with my dinner, I'm so happy xD

Hey James, in the future I think what you should do with the twins is have Brussles be this kid who’s majorly overachieving because blueberry got all the attention as a toddler and he always felt neglected by his family. He should definitely follow an intelligence path because he almost always spends his time learning (he always does the extra credit, the only video game he plays is educational, he learns from the educational tv show, etc.) Also Blueberry I feel should become abit more of a tomboy in her teens, she’s always been super athletic and I feel she probably hates the girly clothes that she wore as a kid. I think you should have her seek out athletics since you haven’t even worked on her aspiration of an artist. (I see also brussles trying to beg for attention and maybe thats why he picks up youtube cause on there he has people that care)

James, about the Money Trees seeming to not grow sometimes. Ever since Seasons update, they changed the way plants grow. If the lot is loaded during a certain time of day, then all plants on the lot grow to the next stage. They did this to try to keep all plants in sync. If your plants don't seem to be growing, it's because you were on another lot when that time had passed. The time seems to happen around 4~6 A.M., so before, it was your date with Holly that kept you off the lot, while you were at the restaurant, and made it seem like your plants at home weren't growing.

I hadn't played in so long and played after the latest update, and I love putting foundations in to give that old-timey cottage vibes to houses, and it took me so long to figure out that the weird square with arrows was foundation. like if you hover over it it doesn't even tell you what it does :(

I just figured this one out recently too, but the reason why she couldn't order a cake is because there was an object on the table. You need to have the table completely empty and clear of any plates and decorations to get the cake because they don't bring it out to you, it just instantly spawns a cake in the center of the table. Then you can add candles or toppers and all that... its obviously a feature they added so you have have wedding and birthday events at a restaurant.
