@Genta Enjoyment and entertainment are important to a healthy human psyche. The people worrying about going homeless need help, but that's not exactly something any of us can assist them with outside of voting booths. That's a vast economic problem that will be solved with mass socialized services. Bare necessities should not be the only thing a person can afford. We're here on this planet to live, not to barely survive. EA is a greedy private company who could easily afford to drop the price heavily or discount it for actual college students. Those actions aren't gonna directly do anything about the homelessness crisis. You can worry about and try to help one large issue while still asking for better prices in your own day-to-day stuff. EA packs are overpriced. Poor people cannot afford these games, and thus are not able to enjoy life as much as rich/spoiled people. Homelessness, a partially unrelated issue, can be solved at the same time as this, lol. It's not spoiled to ask for lower prices on something you literally cannot afford due to your economic situation, regardless of what the item is. It is, however, entirely a strawman argument to call someone spoiled because someone has it worse than them. If we use that argument, you have to acknowledge that every time a homeless person complains about not having a home, they should shut up because they're spoiled since they aren't being beaten to death. See how unfair that argument is? People are allowed to complain about unfair facets of society, such as a megacorporation's insane prices on simple entertainment that cannot be afforded by poor, hardworking college students, while also acknowledging bigger problems at hand. Also, what if I told you that both these issues could be solved through socialised services? Free college, free healthcare, non-privatised housing, etc? An overpriced game is MUCH more related to homelessness than you would imagine. Both are direct products of corporate and privatised greed. So instead of wrongfully shaming someone worse off financially than you for not suffering *enough* to meet your pity standards, why not ask yourself why anyone should ever need to choose between an education and a life-enhancing item in the first place? Again, just because someone has it worse, this does not invalidate the struggles of others, nor does it invalidate their arguments and wishes for a better product.

@@NerdyHomosapian If you're referring to my Great Grandmother, after her first husband passed away (my Great Grandad), she married her (ex) brother in law and gave birth to my grandmother's half brother/cousin. A hundred years ago, in the old country it seemed the safer thing to do was to marry someone you already know, which is why she chose to marry her brother in law. The funny thing is, the brother in law loved his big bro so much, he treated his bros' daughter (my grandmother) better than his own son!

Hey James, While playing the Sims today, I thought of a very cool idea, i'm not sure if its been done before or not. The challenge the standard rags to riches in your favorite style. The twist is, you cant use build/buy mode for anything except for the actual house construction itself. All items/furniture and so on must be purchased from store lots, like a furniture store or toy store, etc...I feel like this would make it more realistic of actually needing to go out and look at galleries of maybe a new living room set or a kitchen set. Could make some custom shops that have a good large inventory to make this easier or load some pre-made ones from the gallery. I plan to do this soon myself, think it would be a lot of fun and unique

I believe if you have your sim listen to music via earbuds from fitness stuff your fun goes up - could be helpful while studying.

Yes! I have tested this multiple times, you just have to make sure to use "turn on" instead of "listen to" ("listen to" won't let you multitask) and you can do literally any "tense" task and keep your fun up. I know in an earlier game (seasons???) he mentioned it felt like cheating since he got them for free but I'd think it'd be okay if he bought them =oc hopefully he gets them /)(\
