Agreed. Would love a retry. I appreciate all the work Sketch Monkey put into this but I think it's lost some of it's natural charm. The original has flat planes with straight, angular lines. SM's goes too soft and rounded. The rear intake is a good addition and makes sense, maybe a bit overdone. But the doors...? The DeLorean was never designed as a time machine. The doors need to retain the gull-wing look, feel and function. I don't understand why they are set so deep into the body - they don't look like they would work. Front-end... meh. Too rounded and bottom heavy. I think it needs to keep some of the original characteristics. Lower elements set further back. Twin rectangular headlights. Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth. Love the channel. Appreciate the photoshop skills.

overall design needs to be flatter the car itself was rather flat that was a very distinct design i think making it flatter would make a huge difference, the headlights need to be wider too with a split in the middle to make the grill less tall and more flat that was also a distinct design que would love to see a redo on this one, the inward design of the door was a great idea but it mde it feel more like a supercar i feel you could push it out for a cleaner look, the front also needs to be less curved as well as flatter get rid of the curved corners, it's already an iconic design that you can't possibly do anything with but change minor details of to make it look more modern but still look exactly the same.

I applaud you for trying to redesign the DeLorean. It’s a really really difficult car to get correct because the original design is so timeless. But I have to be completely honest in that your redesign doesn’t look good at all. Tbh it looks like you simply took one of those camouflage covers and covered the original. You know those camouflage covers they use to cover new cars that they do t want the public to see just yet. And most especially the front end is hideous. So flat and boring. It’s almost as if you took the front end of the Chevy HD truck and put it on the DeLorean. I almost thought you were going to bring the lights into the fender but you erased it and went with those crap lights. Sorry sir but this redesign is trash.

I was never a fan of the Delorean, but your design with the side scoops is a great improvement. I know you can't possibly have tons of people asking about the Infiniti Q70 sedan, but please - please - please consider making a 2-door hardtop coupe form the sedan. Your ideas and talent would make a coupe so amazing that even the people who don't like the car or don't care for Infiniti will be mesmerized by your design!
